TUIAKI HAS ANOTHER OPERATION?

Agreed Simon, I don't see TnT as an extra forward either, just the same as I don't see Tuqiri as a fullback.

Something about a Tuiaki & Tuqiri wing pairing just seems to delicious not to utilize to me…

Jeez, with another op a full 6 months after he had the original injury, were not going to see a big guy like him fit & anywhere near his best & fastest this season..sad but true.
The sole consolation is that with his contract expiring this year there wont be anywhere near the same level of interest in him from rugby and /or other NRL clubs,so we have a much better chance of seeing him at his best in Tigers colors in the future.
Im really reaching for a postive here I know…TNT was unquestionably the best RL winger in the world in 2009 & will be missed in 2010(even with Lo$$e in the ranks)

And the way you wrote it can of course be interpreted in different ways BB. Might want to phrase things a bit more clearly in future if you want to avoid getting flamed.

True. Perhaps I could have written it better in hindsight, or the reader can read things a bit more objectively.

T-Rexx, Simonthetiger and their group of henchmen seem to get a bit annoyed when someone has a differing opinion to them. It is funny. They only want people to think of things their way.

_BB has posted something, Lets attack BB, lets smash his post up !!! Yeeaaaahhhh !!!_

But then mid season, if we are not where we want to be on the ladder, what will they be saying then? "Lets re-sign Sheens" !! Wooooooo !!!

I would like them to provide a solution to the problem of us making the semi's once in our existance. Can they provide a solution to the problem we face with Tuiaki's extended period on the sideline? A few intelligent posts from them would be nice.

Thank you. :unamused:

Pfffffffft…..poor old BB is getting picked on for continually writing absolute tripe about the club I love.

Maybe if you had a go and wrote something constructive people like yours truly would treat you with some respect. But while you continue to deride blokes that are having a go and are doing their best for the WT's then expect to get flamed.

And just for the record,Im not buying this 'you misinterpreted me' BS.

I got it completely,in another one of your mindless rants you were trying to blame the club for TNT's extended recovery, its there for all to see.

If you didn't then off to the bookstore to buy English for dummies.

Either way its not good.

I am of a non English speaking background. Should I apologise for that?

Deride blokes having a go?

Show me when I have?

Not once have I ever been critical of a player in an unfair way. EVER.

I have been critical of management and critical of Sheens. Sheens performance has been poor. He has a poor win/lose ratio. It is the poorest win/lose ratio in the NRL bar none.

Can you provide a solution to us not making the Semi's Simonthetiger? Come on. Lets have a _constructive_ conversation.

Dont avoid my question. Try and answer it.

Maybe i've missed something, but what's Dr Kuah done that's been a sham?

and not to mention Doctor Death Kuah who wouldn't know if his ass was on fire half the time, yet he is the one who is supposed to manage our highly tuned athletes throughout a rigorous NRL season!

Based on What facts???

Kul, c'mon mate, how about Benji's shoulders?

How about every single injury we get, if it's a 2-3 week injury, double the return to field time.

Worst medical staff in the NRL bud.

Don't forget those injections for Farah!!

Fatz in 06 - 6 week hamstring injury turn into a 12 week one

payten in 08 - same as above

benji in 08 - brought back from a knee injury too early, plays one game, out for another 4

Galloway last year - injuries knee against souths, slight strain. Is sent back on, injures it worse and is out for 6 weeks, turns into 12 weeks

collis last year - broken arm, out for 12 weeks

tuiaki with his ankle

farah with his back and the infamous 'wrong needle' incident of 07

these are just off the top of my head. Whenever a wests tiger player is due back you double the expected return date.

They were always a risk due to the odds of hitting a nerve. The main thing is Farah wanted to play and that was the only way he was going to play at the time.

And why did Farah want to play?? to impress for his own benefit, not the teams. He shouldn't of been playing.
But it's what Farah wanted :unamused:

Farah wanted to play because the Tigers were walking a tightrope towards the semi-finals at the time.

And the race was on for the Dally M's.

I beg to differ on that one. I agree that it has been frustrating seeing various Tigers players sitting on the sidelines for what seems an eternity but you've got a couple of people blaming the Tigers club Doctor for injuries taking longer to heal than they think they should when they themselves have no medical facts or opinion to back their claim. It's pure speculation IMO. Blaming the club Doctor is a pretty dangerous thing to do unless you're a Doctor yourself and can offer medical opinion on sports injuries and their management.

Is Dr Kuah is the sole specialist who operates on the Tigers players when they require an operation? I would think not depending on what type of injury a player has suffered - If anyone can offer proof otherwise, then I will humbly apologise. And the person in charge of rehab is Andrew Leeds if I'm not mistaken.

And to answer your question - No it was not of importance at all in comparison to us making the finals. Perhaps we would have made the finals if players selected were based on what is best for the team (long term and short) and not the players personal goals.

Just to add fuel to the fire - Pretty sure Moltzen had an injection on his elbow go wrong early in 2009, leaving him numb all down his arm and unable to play.

I'm not qualified to say much about it but you'd think in this day and age proffessional footballers wouldn't have these issues. The last time I'd heard of this before Farah and Moltzen, was Graham Langlands about 40 years ago with the white boot fiasco in a grand final I think. I'd imagine it happens much more regularly then I've heard of though.

I must admit, again with no experience or knowledge, Dr Kuah does worry me somewhat considering the points raised by some above.
