For him to bounce it, the ball would have to hit the turf. Otherwise he has dropped it.
When has downward pressure ever been a thing?
It only has to graze a blade of grass for it to be a try.
I’m outraged this has just been blown off so lightly.
Every other team would get 1000 looks to see if he had dropped it or maintained control.
I listened live but just watched the bunker replay. They pretty much claim he dropped it on the first view and then spend the next 4mins trying to determine how much of an impact Lomaxs contact is.
Fair dinkim get your priority’s right.

They certainly didn't want to give us to many looks at it.

We were right on top then.

They probably thought we got too much of an even break last week.

And correctly challenged 3 yes 3 decisions.

The bunker overuled that didn't he~she, that was a try.
The ref awarded it didn't he?
You cant tell me that with limited angles that there was significant proof of separation, it was inconclusive, so try!
I still believe they have to get rid of slow mo's.
If a penalty was awarded maybe it should have been a P.Try?
I think we need to wear sensor gloves and footballs with pressure pads so if there is hand/ball separation a red light comes on, a bit bit like snicko and hotspot technology. 🤪
Maybe we need 3 separate independent bunkers in different states and countries viewing same footage. People in different time zones, different ethnic groups, mixed genders, different religion denominations, a rep from each political party, military strategists, supporters from every club, TAB rep, players involved sit lie detectors, and finally 3 coins, heads try, tails no try and mixed inconclusive. Shouldn't take as much time as they do now to stuff it up. 🤣🤣🤣
 
The way the bunker currently rules on groundings, it was a try for the majority of teams. They always use slow-mo and look for separation. There was none in slow-mo, therefore a try.

We got burned by a fingertip of Burgess in that match against Souths last year (and technically the on field ref ruled Burgess a knock on in that one too!)

It really does depend on the colour of your jersey!
 
Gosh Ashley Klein seems to make a lot of blunders.
He penalised Rochow for not standing square while ptb and handed Broncos an easy penalty in front to give them that win in 2018.
He made the call last week on the Tupou tackle.
How many times has this guy been suspended?
How many times will the nrl apologise for Klein’s mistakes?

It was a no try acccording to the Annusley script book in the bunker,section 1A clearly states "If there is any possible reason to rule against the WT do it,if not make one up".Klein does not want to lose his spot on the NRL gravy train so he had no choice in the matter.
Big Bwana Annusley will probably say that the bunker was correct and that will be the end of it.Having Annusley in charge is like having Attilla the Hun in charge of cultural development.
