If he's serious about his football career and becoming the best he can, then he just might need to peel himself away from friends, family and the Happy Meals and enter a whole new environment.
His biggest asset is his footwork, he needs to run with the ball as much as possible - for this reason he needs to be playing fullback. He needs to trail the forwards looking for offloads and receiving the ball from shifts out on the edges in space. He should be bobbing up over all parts of the field with a license to roam.
Tui reminds me of Ben Barba - similar attributes. Barba was played in the halves when he first entered the NRL and was a bit of a dud. Shifted to fullback he won the Dally M and nearly won a premiership with the Bulldogs, and last year was key member of the Sharks first title.
If Tui's coached to play fullback, and the team structures are built around that, then he just might become a serious x-factor attacking weapon.
Well said. I agree with all that. Does anyone know where we're up to with his signing? Any chance he might come over straight away and allow us to release the malcontent, Moses?
