Tuimoala Lolohea Signs with WT

Geez I hope most of you are right, but I see very little about this bloke that suggest we should be in a bidding war with another club to get this blokes signature.

No doubt in 3 years from now they will be making Marvel Jersey in his name?!

He can definitely produce a play for a highlight reel which is just a function of natural talent. It remains to be seen whether he can play decent, consistent football in between the flashy plays which is more a matter of training, discipline and mental application. Judging by the level of interest in him it seems a lot of coaches are backing themselves to be able to drum some discipline into him and turn him into a star. Definitely a gamble - best case you get RTS Mk II and worst case you get Kevin Locke circa 2017 chewing a big hole in your salary cap.

Thats my concern… Happy to take him for 5 bucks if he want to prove himself. But if he thinks he can get 6 bucks at the cowboys, he can go!

They said he would announce his future on Tuesday, now they are saying we will know on Wednesday. :crazy :unamused:

Hopefully we get him but it is unlikely he will be released this year

Why would the Cowboys be paying more than Us…

That's my point it makes too much sense to sign with the Tigers I am assuming if the rumours are correct he's going to the Cows it would have to be coin or a property thrown in at below market valuation.

I think the chance to play with Thurston could have something to do with it.

Maybe it's a chance to be mentored by a future immortal

Having options will do this…

THE FORGOTTEN TIGER FUNDS

The Wests Tigers have been unabashed in their pursuit of new players to add quality to their side.

Even after signing Ben Matulino and Josh Reynolds to handsome deals, the Tigers have what seems to be an endless supply of cash.

Why is that?

Tigers get out cheque bookTigers get out cheque book

Robbie Farah. While the hooker isn’t at the club, he’s burning a hole in their salary cap this season.
A $700,000 hole, in fact. That payment expires in November, which means Ivan Cleary has plenty more cash to splash on marquee recruits.

Meanwhile, Corey Thompson has accepted a one-year-deal with the Tigers starting next season after being granted a release from Widnes.

Fellow Super League back, Mahe Fonua, has requested a release from his contract with Hull FC to return to Australia.

The 24-year-old and his partner are expecting their first child and wish to return to Australia to be closer to their families.

The Tigers have offered Fonua a two-year-deal and are also keeping a close watch of Raiders winger Kato Ottio’s movements.

Now the Dogs have Foran officially, maybe they might throw some quality out there in the market place and not small pickings like Eastwood

The only one who think NQ are favourites for Tui is some random QLd journo. No one else has this impression.

It's almost as if this random channel 7 guy (since when do they have any secret inside goss on league) wanted to throw a sensationalist headline out there just to get people to tune into his sports report or something.

And NQ aren't allowed to offer players cut price houses. Against the rules of the cap.

Yeah right, they all follow the rules :bash

I've heard that some Cowboy stars own half of Townsville.

Then there was the Scott Prince house on the Gold Coast that came out Years later.
