Lote wants this - Lote wants that- heck if his body will listen to his mind & they find some synchronization then maybe Lote WILL make the Fijian team. Mentally this guy aint over yet. He is hungry, i can smell it from here.

what the hell? is lote a fijian citizen? in my view, it should be about citizenship. people can move to another country and become a citizen and i think that should be the prerequisite for representing a country, as you have to have lived there for a specified period of time.

forgive me for being harsh, but how does heighington even play for england? is it his lineage? given those rules, i could play for england.. theoritically! ; )

i think this is all stupid. make it your current country of citizenship and for SOO where you were born… if you werent born in queensland, then bad luck! lol

Lote was in his teens when he came to Aust and his family still live there. I got the impression when I was over there that he is regarded still as being Fijian. He's possibly a dual citizen.

No way. Then everyone would be playing for Australia, even Benji. Then only the warriors players would be playing for nz and get destroyed.
I respect the international affiliation program but it would be good if people pledged allegiance and stuck with it instead of changing it when it suits them over a 2 year period or whatever.
Origin really needs to be where you were actually born I agree. It's getting ridiculous. Good on Kasiano.
