Turning up ready to play...

There have been times this year when I was wondering which Tigers team would turn up:
(a) The hard nosed, tough, together Tigers like we saw against Parra (in both rounds this year);
(b) The struggling Tigers (like the scrappy win against Cronulla); or
© The insipid Tigers like we saw against Souths at the SCG.

I am confident though, that from now on we will see the real Tigers stand up and come ready to play.

I've seen enough to believe that, win lose or draw, we will be in each contest up to our back teeth. The new attitude means we can give this comp a real shake. The boys look ready to play. Good signs leading into the semis.

The best thing about the performance from that point of view was that they kept going, even when Parra was showing signs of a fightback and we'd been unlucky not to put a few points on. It really was an excellent performance.

I was really worried after we had all the ball and bombed a couple of tries that the boys would get frustrated and start to panic and do something stupid (especially Benji), but they dug in and showed real determination and patience. Even in the second half with that shocking penalty count against us they never gave up. It was a great 80 minute effort and made me very proud to be a Tigers supporter.
