Don't even think it's that complicated. It's not like they won't but more like they can't. This team lacks the basics in both skill and experience as well physicality. We're no match with many teams because of size, skill and experience etc.,.

100% agree Lauren....how many times can we not even turn the man over and get them on their back. Simple technique that they cannot master but all the over teams can.
This year's team just looked underdone in some many areas of strength and conditioning - we looked unfit and slow and lacked any type of strength.... massive overall is needed. I saw Tim Sheens sitting with David Boyle at some stage over the course of the past couple of months - would not mind him coming on board aka Steve Folkes did back in the day which resulted in a huge change in attitude and fitness.

On fire that year, agree - best football we played and of the back of those couple of years the club should have laid the foundations for continued finals success except we went backwards. Massive broom is required, and some strategic signings are required in both grades to move forward....can't wait for the kids.

Same for Pongia & Lomax...

And Stuart - Daley - Clyde etc were all attack - no pride in Defence....???

We were off the pace from round 1, whatever Madge had them doing in the offseason didn't work, and most certainly shouldn't be repeated this offseason
