Twal's a Beast

His line break, run, step, fend and offload leading to the Mbye try was the highlight of the match.

Twal is a damn good player. Why Eiso and the likes get picked ahead of him has me stuffed.

Exactly. Beats me why Eiso is even in the team. Zero impact running the ball.

He covered many first up misses by team mates which had the potential to result in tries. Until his team mates learn to make their tackles stick, we need him.

Huth made 57 tackles , says enough imo

Yeah but his carry’s are like what you’d see from an office worker .

Dont understand how excuses are made for players who appear to have questionable work loads and yet the workers get tagged as the plodders. Not sure who was going to make all those tackles if he doesnt play.

The problem with the workers is we seem to have too many. Too many guys who aim to do 40+ tackles and not enough who bend the line.

Is it to much to ask for a player who can do both? Like most other clubs…

Yeah the balance of the pack is out. Big backrowers are desperately needed.

He (Huth) should make at least that many tackles when you consider how slow and ineffective he is with the ball. He really needs to work on his speed in the off season.

The look on his face, more so his lack of expression when running and stepping was priceless.

He had his poker face on.

Almost left Turbo in his wake.

The Heffer needs a cattle prod !

Twal makes the important tackles, as someone said, hi defence is great. If he plays against the Dragons he makes a big difference.

Gees, how bad was the effort by Manly's hooker in that run? Got fended off twice and showed no urgency at all.

When I was watching it, I was terrified that Twal wasn't going to pass to Mbye. Waited right to the very last moment…
