“I know that I perform my best when I’ve got a strong coach who can keep me accountable and I’ve really enjoyed speaking with him lately.

This is a guy, who shown some belief and trust will do a great job.

Very happy with.

🔥🔥

Would have preferred the 27 year old Peachey that our WT missed out on when he chose the Titans, but hey, beggars can't be choosers and if he will come to play under this coach we have to sign him.

Well Peachy used to terrorise us, lol. Can’t be too bad of a signing then. Although maybe we were just really crap.

Then again so did BJ. We all know how that panned out.

Peachey’s signing in isolation is probably just a typical tigers signing. It’s a guy who just probably signed his last deal and was in little demand.

On the other hand if we can land two more quality signings than Peachey becomes a good signing. My point is, he will need plenty of quality around him to be effective

I don’t get the complaints about his age. He’s 1 year younger than Adam Reynolds and 6 months younger than Cody Walker who is going to command almost $1M for 2023.

Agree with BJ but what was his $$ contract?

Like what he had to say. Always liked the Peach, very competitive, doesn't seem like a knob and never involved in off-field shenannigans like some others. Someone else said he might form a good combo with Laurie...who knows, we'll have to wait and see but with their shared heritage, competitive natures and being former players of the same club, (throw Jimmy the Jet in as well) I can see them forgeing a bond that can only strengthen the team. Looking forward to seeing them all in action next year.

He was reported to be on about 600k

So if pascoe has nothing to do with the football department, why does he always add his ctrl + c, ctrl + v statements to these published articles.

Get Tim or Michael to do it if you want to take no ownership JP.

Cheers. If that’s the case then peach has to be lower risk?

I heard closer to 700k

We hire players with Big potential Range, but rarely see that potential. BJ could be a GF player or a reserve grade benchwarmer. He never hit the performance we saw at Canberra.

$600 & $700k is complete rubbish to fit a narrative. There are no centers on $700k. It was widely reported at the time that raiders were paying some of the freight.

BJ cost us around the same as Peach. Still poor value in hindsight but let’s be real

Astute pickup and happy with the final reported $$.

Can’t believe some think he is a bench warmer. He is better than any other player we have that could be #13. Makes the hard yards, plays 80mins and gives us creative options. His only competition for 13 ATM would be Seyfarth and Peachey is a better player than him.

I appreciate the photo of Peachey in his Indigenous jersey, is there a pic of him in WT merch ?? I'm still waiting ..

Pre season hasn't started yet so he's probably off on holidays somewhere. Come November 1st he'll be wearing our mercy I'm sure

I think he cost around $450,000 a year. The first year Canberra kicked in some money and apparently in 2021 he cost around $450,000. That is according to Hoops so I don’t know how accurate those figures are. I get the sense media inflate or ballpark figures in the hope they are close
