Ferguson to demolish Khabib in 209 eh Demps! Hell yeah, that should be a good one.

LOL.
That'd be the day.

Tony didn't even wanna sign the contract to fight Khabib.

We'll see in a few weeks I guess.
Don't have much time for either Khabib or Ferguson personality-wise, they both seem like tossers, but IMO Ferguson seems to be the better striker so if the fight stays on the feet he will take Khabib out.

Lol, Khabib is potentially the best wrestler in the UFC.
He will not keep it standing.

Did u see his fight with Michael Johnson?
He wasn't overly impressive in the stand up so he took MJ down and punched his head in, ground and pound.

Expect to see more of that.

Shevchencko vs Nunes will be worth watching when they meet.
Masvidal was very impressive today too, made Cerrone look like a hack. Some of those body kicks were insane, sounded like a piece of 4x2 belting into a tree trunk.

Given how their last fight played out you'd have to think Shevchenko would be favourite in a 5 round fight. But Nunes is full of confidence and has that x-facter which is her knockout power. Should be a good fight.

As for 209 i'd like to see El Cucuy get the win just because a matchup between him and Mcgregor would be a fun as hell fight. (Assuming Mcgregor ever comes back to defend his belt). Although if I had to bet I would say Khabib gets the win just because Tony's risky fighting style could lead to alot of easy takedowns.

Khabib has only had the one fight after a pretty lengthy layoff and still did well. Ferguson seems to me to be someone not that special looking but seems to always win?!!
my money is definitely on Khabib.

as for Nunes v Shevchenko, Nunes for sure. Pena has never been much (imo) so not really a great warm up for Shevchenko. interesting she got the sub though, so maybe she is a chance if they get to ground, but i dont think so….

Mate, Khabib has fought twice since returning from injury -
Although his first fight was against an unheard of opponent making his debut (Darrel Horcher) then absolutely dismantling Michael Johnson.

With a record like 24 - 0, he is a big threat to everyone in that division.

Who are your picks for tomorrow Demps? Brunson to get careless and knocked out by Anderson Silva.
De Randamae to beat Holly Holm by decision.
I'm hoping Holm wins though, she seems like a pretty humble chick.

I wanted Holly and Anderson to win.

Upsets for days there. Still debatable who won both matches, lol.

Was very surprised to see Travis Browne is the favourite over Derrick Lewis. If Lewis hits him flush he will drop his head into the next postcode. Browne looked very tentative in the last fight I saw him in, Lewis will chew him up IMO.
The big one's next week will be awesome, hopefully Ferguson and Thompson are victorious.

Been some bad reffing in the past two main events. The UFC should really make John McCarthy the permanent main event referee and to a lesser extent Herb Dean. Those are the only two.

Yamasaki must of thought it was a fight to the death. Brown took about 4 extra shots after he was already knocked out.

But how good is it to see some new heavyweight stars. Lewis and Ngannou. Cant wait until they eventually clash.

In the lead up to the fight Travis said - he'd rather die than lose this fight.
Yamasaki was just obliging.

Perhaps he doesn't like wife beaters? lol.
Either way - Browne has lost three in a row / should be fired.

Browne has a pretty terrible record, he has lost nearly half of his total fights. Had money on Lewis, didn't look too promisiing after he copped those couple of kicks in the belly in the 1st round. He came back well.
Would of been upset with the late stoppage by the ref if it had been a good bloke on the receiving end but it was only woman-beater Browne so was happy to see him cop the extra punishment.
How funny was Lewis' interview with Stann after the fight?! Was hilarious. Didn't know that Rousey was Browne's missus, pair of deadbeats are well suited for each other.

Yeah Lewis is one of a kind lol. Good luck finding the original interview though. The UFC cut out the bit where he called Brown a women beater and Rouseys "fine ass". Only wish it was Rogan in there interviewing him and not Stann the stiff. Lewis said he wants Hunt next. That would be a great fight between two of the heaviest hitters in the division.

Hunt is fighting Overeem next weekend.
Not a fan of Hunt. Hope Big Al shuts him down.
That car looks a cracker next week, 209 !

Lol, I'm tipping the other way - Woodley, Khabib & Overeem.

Super unsure about the main fight though, going off the previous fight (draw) it could go either way.

Expecting upsets, all good though - as long as Kebab wins because he'll destroy Connor McNugget

Yeah I've gone with basically all the upsets. not confident on any of them but reckon at least 1 will be right.

Whoever wins either way it will be a tough fight for Connor. And he knows it too. I'd be surprised if he's next fight is against the winner. He'll try and put that off for aslong as possible. Wouldn't be surprised if his next fight is against GSP at 170.
