Can anyone enlighten me on what Ivan Cleary has done for this team season 2017?

Forget attracting players for next year, what has he done for this team this year?

Our defence has got worse. Players clearly have no idea what to do and when to do it.

A set of six starts in opposition territory and our plan is 4 one out hit ups….FOUR. Not 2 to set something up, but 4 tackles wasted one out hit ups in the opposition half.

Our 5/8 doesn't touch the ball all game.

Please someone help me relax by giving me some examples of what Cleary has brought to this team for season 2017.

Im sorry but i can not accept things like:
He needs an off season to implement his things..(please thats a cop out)
The squad is crap.....yes but Taylor had the same squad nearly make the 8 last year.

Its getting very worrying that Clearly cant coach because im not seeing anything at all that he has done for this team.
 
Yep im struggling. We have gone from a poor squad that managed to jag a few good wins every now and then to a side that is a rabble.

I want to believe in Cleary because otherwise Im just about done.

I will give him a pre-season and to mid-next season before I write him off, but has certainly not improved the side one bit.
 
What does Brooksy do at training. His first short kick of the game again goes straight into a player and he persists with those useless midfield bombs. Drop the pretender to reserve grade he is bloody useless. The only reason we still have him is because no other club wanted him.

No been happening for weeks. We spend 4 out of 6 tackles setting up for a nothing play then kick it into the legs of the opposition. Thats a wests tigers attacking set ala Clearly.
 
Not Cleary fault …this squad was built by Taylor .my only criticism is his selection of Kev m ...half the squad is t of first grade standard but Cleary has no option but to pick the same reserve graders week in week out .
 
Umm..I started this 2 weeks ago and got howled down..so good luck Sirro..

It's the roster..

I don't think Cleary has done much with the current squad and left it to the assistants as he is concentrating on…'Next Year'

I don't know what the answer is mate but we can't act like he is guaranteed a first grade spot. He is a dud.

The biggest cop out post of the year. How can you explain your reasoning when Taylor got better results with this so called self built squad? So if the results were better with Taylor, whats your answer to the question of what has Cleary done for this team?

Clearly has sent us backwards.
 
Sirro - with all due respect you also think ET is a dud.

In stating that geez we are ordinary. We need to score points somehow and we don't seem to have the players to do that.

I'm going to give IC though at least 3 year to get it right. Taylor deserved less because he made poor decisions after poor decisions. The only thing I can fault IC for right now is our on-field performances.

These reserve graders were playing better 10 weeks ago, and apart from Canberra were competing. The last few weeks have been garbage. Keep blaming JT when we take a big step towards the spoon next week when we play a side full of ordinary players that compete, have a game plan and 2 halves that are on next to no money, but can steer the side around

We were told to expect this from Cleary. He's rebuilt two other clubs and this is just the way it works. I'm more concerned about the momentum in signing players and specifically Rona, Watson and Tupou.

Same cattle as last year, that cant be an answer when comparing what Cleary had done since taking over. Im asking what has the new coach done to improve this squad? The same squad Taylor had has gone backwards in a big way under Cleary
