Unconfirmed rumour Krisnan Inu signs with Wests Tigers

He was with a couple of our boys at Liverpool Westfields today while they were promoting a campaign.

Inu could be a great addition to our squad… if he can force a starting spot for us in the centres he could be quite a good on field utility, able to shift out to the wing if necessary, fullback, and in a real pinch wouldnt be the worst half either (not that its desirable but if we lost a half at present who else would we use thats any better)....

With the team vibe at the moment, the leadership group and Potter all on the same wave lenght, we may just be able to fire him up to realise his potential, he isnt a known bad boy just supposedly lazy, and we have a mantra he could possibly buy into and fluorish.

not sure if anyone else shares this view, but i see inu as a player who really revels when going to a new team but then fades into obscurity. when the dogs signed him and perret, he had a great year.

i think of him as a quick fix type. he would fit into the centres very nicely right now, and create some competition to hopefully get rowdy back to his best.

When you think about it Inu has had some very good coaches (Hasler ,Smith and Cleary ) over the years that can't get the best out of him on a consistent basis

Can't see it being any different if he comes here

Changed my mind ,I'll pass on him unless he is coming here for free like Wade McKinnon did

Inu has talent, but he is a rocks and diamond style players. He goes for a lot of long shot plays, when they come off their great but often they fall flat. I would have thought Potter would be looking to get away from this sort of player.

In saying that he has class, can cover 1 thru 5 without any problems and is a good goal kicker. So what have we to loose as Iam sure the Dogs will be picking up some of the tab

If the assumption is that he's a short-term fix for this season and playing for a contract (anywhere) next year then I'd be in favour. Lulia is a complete nuffie and with Tedesco out it's easy to see Inu getting a lot of game time - and being better than other available options.

I see him as a relatively cheap insurance policy, particularly if only for the remainder of this season. If we lose another back to join Teddy in rehab for a medium term in the next month or so, we are light on for quality replacements.

The guy is very versatile as he can play one thru six, plus he can kick goals. He may even force Lawrence out if things don't improve there.

Is he injured at present, or is he in there NSW side.

Now here's a gambling question what odds we sign Inu 1st or resign Teddy. Will we announce Teddy's new deal 1st or will Inu come before hand.

Teddy 2/1
Inu 5/1
what's ur guess.

Now this would be an interesting signing. He has plenty of versatility and is also a good goal-kicker. He is by all reports pretty laid back to the point of being called lazy, like Mark Waugh once was. These sort of players excel when in a happy frame of mind off the field.

I'm not sure where he fits in when everyone is fit as there is a pretty clear 1-5 preference. With someone out injured though, he is an invaluable squad member with his handy versatility. I suspect if we do get him, he won't be affecting our salary cap too much.

If we got him with the dogs paying a fairly sizeable chunk of his contract i would take him. He offers versatility of being able to cover several positions and being able to goal kick is a big bonus. And lets face it competition and pressure from other players trying to get a run in first grade creates and forces players to play their best footy to retain their first grade spot.

If it's only for this season surely it doesn't matter how much of his contract is being paid? We aren't going to use any spare cap money on anyone else in 2014 are we?

Does anyone have any more new info hopefully we can sign him.

Aren't you usually the one who updates us with who said what on twitter? and didn't you say 2 days ago that you can't wait till we sign him? Not feeling confident anymore?

This is starting to sound like one of those rumours that we're in the front running for, but he'll end up with the likes of Souths, Cronulla or Easts.

I heard a rumour today that Inu would be part of some sort of trade off with the bulldogs. They get Koroibete and we get Inu
