I've been thinking who wound be captain round 1???
We don't really have any stand outs - which really highlights the biggest issue of our team. We are missing senior leaders
**Doueihi** yes but injured. Should be captain next year but injured for first half of season. Still to nail position but has passion and drive. Should be captain when returns.
**Tamou** - no. Should be dropped as captain and from top 17.
**Brooks** - no. Captain at end of 2021 but isn't a leader and can't handle the pressure.
**Hastings** - maybe. sheens made captain of rest of world side. Grown into a leader, vocal and should play 7. But new to side and yet to established in nrl.
**Laurie** - no. still to young. Panthergate showed still to learn. Naturally quiet. But leads with actions.
**Utoikamanu** - maybe. Emerged as our best forward. Leads with actions although naturally quiet. Reminds me of big petero. Smoky
**Peachey** - maybe. Experienced and will be in top 13. New to club.
**Ofahengaue** - no. experienced but seems quiet. Needs a rocket. Should be a senior leader. Not sure makes to 13
**Twal** maybe. In 21 leadership group. Now a senior player. Seems articulate but not sure he's a natural leader.
**Liddle** - no. Needs confidence.
