The fact that every single former member of his Presidential staff, governors, generals have all come out and said for the first time in their lives their voting Democrat because they fear for their country and the children's futures if a maniac like Trump gets back should say everything anyone needs to know about what he stands for.

John McCain was probably my favourite politician. I reckon if he'd beaten Obama America wouldn't have ended up so divisive as they had similar platforms and it's easier for the Republican side to digest when it comes from their side. Similar to if Howard had beaten Rudd. Both sides back then had general agreement on environmental scheme. Just as it's easier now for Labor to cut NDIS funding, things only seem to work when the other side does it.

In Qld we had a really clear and interesting debate about crime, role of govt, spending with really clear policy. There was plenty of muck there too, but well done Australia!

Saw a guy with a trump flag on his car today. I find that embarrassing for our country as we're such fanboys for Americans, yet no one cares a jot about anything our own politicians say. I just reckon we should pay more attention to our own country and leave America to continue to trash their place.
