I'm not fussed on it, but feel it has relevance if used in Rugby League Forums, more specifically threads on WT.

Giving people rep points in Tipping or Soccer chatter threads is ridiculous.

WOW!!! does it really upset you when people get positive Rep Points in Comps ? I suppose it's a way of people saying thanks for the time and effort your putting into the Comps , not many know just how time consuming it is .
But i take your opinion on board .

Personally i'm not bothered by it and don't miss it….it's not like it's a Popularity contest anyway .

If it improves the Sites speed then there's no reason to bring it back , also people are throwing there opinions about more with no fear of being Neg repped .

Either way not bothered if it comes back or not.

Not bothered

I think it would be good to have a thumbs up type thing similar to facebook that doesn't go towards any sort of reputation points tally. Just the ability to give a thumbs up to individual posts, but no rep points. That's the way to go imo.

Thumbs up from me.

Yeah 2 thumbs up from me on that idea! That would make it easier to positively respond to a post when you can't be bothered posting anything yourself - that was the only good thing about the rep point system. However, would that slow up the internet speed as well?

If rep points where the main reason for slowing the server down then we shouldnt have them.I voted no

Hahaha i reckon the main reason for the slowness is us keyboard warriors mate

Flogging the Forum with our comments lol

Perhaps have a look at the logs, i reckon the slowness came after Robbie getting dropped :roll

No, I dont really care.

I just dont see the relevance outside what the forum is designed to be. A discussion forum for Wests Tigers and RL.

i will be honest
Whilst it didnt mean anything in the grand scheme of things it actually did bring a smile to my face when someone liked my post. Especially when it was a long standing member here.

At the same token if it slows the Forum down and drives us more mad its something we can do without.

How about a I like this post emoticon instead ?

I loved losing a few every time I mentioned John Elias and a few other unsavoury characters as well as for Laurie NIchols in the wrong light

Don't worry, now people can just flame you instead of giving you negative rep

Site seems to be a bit slow again tonight.

Too many happy people on the forum at the same time Sabre

Would have been a bit quicker if we lost i reckon

Everyone is out and about high -5-ing each other after getting into the top 8 for the first time this year
