Warriors Still in Race for Sheens

Was getting excited about a coach change and renewing my memberships …well i will have a few extras in the account Sheens is coach no memberships.
 
Bellamy knocked us back before Sheens came to Concord. Cant see him coming to us, Would not be suprised if their told Brown or another coach, the jobs yours in 2014, start looking at what players you want and what players you dont want. Anyway seems all most certain we have the guru for another year, like others their will be no memberships and no long drives to Cambo,the odd SFS game and the four LO games and that will do me for 2013

Why would he

Some clubs use those nasty words like Accountability and Key Performance Indicators

If someone at the the Wests Tigers spoke those words to Sheens , they would be cast out as a blasphemer and be stoned to death

sigh .. 2014 is a long way off and next season could be a long one, sounds like there are going to be many disappointed members who will not re-new memberships in protest.

Totally agree.Whilst Sheens is at the helm I am saving my money.Maybe a couple of extra golf games during the year.Only problem is it might cost me more smashing my TV watching it at home???

We will have to take the full course of antibiotics to get rid of him and there will be no shortcuts on the way unfortunately

Yeah looks like Timmy will be here for one last hurrah. I say that cos i can't see us doing any better in 2013 with the same squad and our Supercoaches stubborness with team selections. Not even our spineless board will keep him on then, they'll do what they have to move him on
 
I am completely gutted another year maybe two of crazy team selections with players playing out of position not using the interchange bench properly and the knowledge that no matter how poorly a player goes that he is safe under Sheens.
2012 could be classified as a good year compared to the next 1 or 2
 
Remember when Pat Richards was in doubt for the GF and we all thought Sheens would shift Halatau or John Wilson to centre and Elf to the wing. But he wanted to play 17 year old McDonnell. He even said "one injury one change". What happened to that Sheens?

Is it worth all the people not renewing memberships to write a letter with each of the members names and membership details and the reason for not renewing ( sheens ) ?

There are quite a few on here saying they won't renew. I am undecided. Perhaps it's too late for the board to listen to our protests ?

I will do that. And I guarantee Humphreys will not respond. They don't care mate. It'll take a season of 10-12,000 crowds before they realize that fans have had enough.

Funny you should mention that. I actually finally made up my mind last night and sent this to Humphries and to the general membership email address

Subject: membership

Wests Tigers
For what very little it is worth (as I am just a know nothing fan) I am another member that will not be renewing my membership whilst sheens remains coach.
The culture he has created of excuses (oh sorry, 'reasons'), zero accountability, favouritism and 'jobs for the boys' (royce simmons - failed here, failed in England so lets take him back - woohoo!) is unacceptable in the eyes of this long suffering fan.
He has destroyed Benji by playing him in a position he has no idea about purely because sheens wants to show that he is a 'genius' by creating something that noone else saw (John Morris = Cooper Cronk anyone?).
Our success in the last two years was in spite of sheens not because of him. We are blessed with TWO once in a generation players and his complete inability to create a team that plays consistent, tough football whilst taking advantage of their brilliance has wasted them.
He should be ashamed. as should you and the board for extending his contract again and again and again.
But of course he is completely untouchable and impervious to any criticism or sanction by anyone. Especially the board that he supposedly answers too.
teflon tim will continue to make our club the 'soft', 'weak willed', also rans of the competition.
I will always love the Tigers but with him in the coaches position I cannot bring myself to support the club through membership.
