Was the 2nd try a 'no try' with a forward pass?

To me Farah's pass was blatantly forward and on most occasions there would be a slight shallowness knowing we scored off a bad call.

NOT TONIGHT BABY SUCK IT UP MANLY hahahahahhaha

On the downside we're gonna have another week of whinging by Dessy and co

The pass was OK.

Manly's second try should not have been awarded- Rose hit Woods in the face and he walked forward off the mark as he played the ball. This created the space for Ballin to run thru and score.

Agreed, I also thought Beaus try effort could have been awarded as I have seen the same thing given dozens of times over the past couple of seasons.

Haha I forgot about that, it makes the try off the forward pass EVEN SWEETER!!!

Who the hell cares! WE WON and Manly LOST!!!!

but seriously, it was line ball and as they say the passers hand motion was back so if it "floated" forward a little its a legitimate pass!

Couldn't tell from the camera angle, I'll go with the officials on that one

spot on pp, the linesman was in line and as the ref said, and has been said ad-in-fintum by other refs and commentators, " the pass was backwards but may have floated forward "

It was forward but in saying that, Farah could have thrown it 5 metres back and Ayshford would have scored, so good call in letting it go…........is that biased???? lol

Manly threw a dozen passes forward out of dummy half all night, does that make the one we got called for (and rightfully so,) any less forward than theirs? The ref didn't catch it, it's part of the game. We got dudded twice in the first half so as far as I'm concerned it's far from a square up.

I thought Lawrence knocked the ball backwards in the first half off a bomb but it was ruled a knock on. Manly scored that set to make it 12 nil.

It was FORWARD but It doesn't matter…..As you say cobbs their 2nd try was worse then our try last year in the semis when Marshall and Pearce had a tiff.
