Its a fair point.
You would be proud to be a Titans fan this year.
Written off as nobodies. But in every single game fighting.
Same high motivation every week. Which is a very hard job for our mob.
WT get off scot free with some fans though, were a poor roster they say , bottom 2?
As poor as the Titans on paper, not for mine.

The difference thought in attitude week in week out is huge.
Like the original poster said, the coach must be doing a great job motivating a side no one gave much hope.

I'm not diminishing the titans achievements, and Henry has done a great job. They seem to be over achieving while we're under achieving yet again.
I suppose i just came to a realisation after the cronulla game that we are a very poor team. Poorly coached aswell it seems. But i don't think the squad is superior to anyone

Titans are a very well drilled team. Much better than us, squad potential I'd say we are pretty similar but they may have us in the forwards
But the difference is Henry has them all playing at their absolute best and Taylor is a gun. Henry has had a year and a bit at the Titans and look how he's turned them around

yup, great work by the titans and neil henry
always thought he was underated at the cows, and surprised he got the flick
would be happy with him or cleary at our helm. Even tooves would be good if he could be paired with someone really tactical. I think he'd instill a lot more discipline in our team than JT

I think if you lined both teams up they would be very close in ability. What they have is two really super competitive players in Ryan james and Greg Bird. These two guys will do anything to win and we just do not seem to have a player or players who have that same competitive drive. You get the feeling with our mob they do not really mind when they loose in fact they are use to it.
As I have said in other posts, we have some glaring weakness that are clear to everyone but nothing seems to have been done to rectify these problems. Things do not fix themselves,you either get rid of the problem or you put plans in place to reduce the problems and that has not be done

The game isn't played on paper (Thank Heavens!).
Rugby league is really a very simple game.
I think that in order to win more often than you lose you need only basic ball-handling /kicking skills, a winning attitude, coupled with the ability to generate a roll-on and capitalize on momentum.
The Titans perhaps do not have the requisite experience or talent to win every single game but the basics and the mental game they have all over us and that is enough to be competitive most of the time.

The Titans barring the Storm game have been competitive week in week out. They fell on their feet with DCE backflipping as their halves Taylor and Roberts have been playing well behind a determined pack of forwards. I thought when Kane Edgley did his ACL they might struggle but they have been the surprise packet of the season. Just goes to show you what hard running aggressive forwards can bring to a footy team.

Our players have bigger reputations than the Titans, but I would not say that they are better players. They show what you can do with average backs when your forwards are getting the opposition rolling back.
