We are changing; for the better. It's tough now, but the right decisions are being made to undo all the previous bad management.

And still haven’t found the right one for Our needs. Doesn’t mean you stop looking !
Yeh that’s right, hire a coach then keep looking around for someone to replace him. Does that really make sense to you Browny?
I would rather the boards offer some intelligent and constructive advice on how to improve performances across the entire organisation.

Since 2005, several NRL teams have finished in the bottom four multiple times. Here are some of the key teams and their finishes:

  1. Knights: They have often struggled, with several bottom four finishes, including winning the wooden spoon in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
  2. Titans: The Titans have frequently ended up in the bottom four, including in 2011, 2019, and 2022.
  3. Eels: They have also faced challenges, finishing last in 2012, 2013, and 2018.
  4. Wests Tigers: The Tigers have had multiple bottom four finishes, including in 2013 and 2021.
  5. Raiders: The Raiders have had some poor seasons, finishing in the bottom four in 2005 and 2014.
  6. Rabbitohs: The Rabbitohs had a tough period in the mid-2000s, finishing in the bottom four in 2006 and 2007.
  7. Dragons: The Dragons have had sporadic bottom four finishes, such as in 2013 and 2019.
  8. Dogs: They have also faced difficulties, finishing last in 2021 and close to the bottom in other seasons.
  9. Warriors: They have struggled occasionally, with bottom four finishes in recent years including 2020.
These teams have seen varying degrees of success and challenges over the years, with some experiencing periods of rebuilding and others facing ongoing struggles. So retrospectively, it's not like 2 spoons is setting a record. 3 in a row will be though to beat, though. In isolation, should we be more disappointed than an Eels fan, based on this year performance? Key difference all the other clubs have managed to get off the canvas - we,

Other teams mix poor years mentioned above with good years ..GFs and semi finals…

Not us for 13 years …

I believe Bateman won't be back
He had a very poor 15 min period against Souths and I watched carefully
Seems 2 "adults " Benji and Bateman can't have a civilised discussion about it and he's off to the UK because of a blow up between them .
Robbie who was never in a position to be anything more than a part time assistant coach has also called it quits probably due to differences of opinions with Benji
Benji is putting all his chips on youth to turn the club around without much respect for long time experience .
Benji is becoming an angry coach which is very different to the 2 greats Bellamy and Bennett.
The fact that Luke Laulilii survived after his shocker last week is evidence of the youth only policy .
For success its essential to have a happy dressing room .
The good coaches find a way to talk to and correct player weaknesses without having blow ups .
I believe Stephano will go probably to the Storm because its attractive to play under Bellamy . He's one Benji wants because he's only 24
Benji is stressed and becoming rash imo
He should have only become a head coach after at least a full year as assistant under one of the good coaches as did Jason Ryles ,Josh Hannah and Craig Fitzgibbon
Its not changing for the better ! They are fixing some problems and creating a whole lot of new ones .All above is just my humble opinion !
Not so sure Bellamy is not an angry coach. He instills standards which we are trying to do, but does not tolerate lazy effort which has been a downfall of ours and that is unfortunately from most of our experienced players.
I feel we are heading in the right direction but it will still take time and blooding the young players will get valuable experience for next season and beyond.

I believe Luai will be fantastic for the culture of the club as Crichton has been for the bulldogs. He has an infectious personality that make the environment enjoyable and if we can harness that along with him being able to close out games with Api we will be a lot better. Imagine last week with Luai I would suggest we win with him in that side even allowing for the amount of youth in the side.

Steph has a chance to be part of the clubs new rebuild ( lost count of what number this will be ) or leave.
We can get a few decent first grade players for the money we have offered him that do the dirty hit ups and tackle with their shoulder not arm grab. I would prefer him to stay but $800k is a lot for his current effort along with it being 5 years. Whilst it may be turn out to be good to lock him up if he reaches his potential, I would be filthy if he signs and delivers his current effort for 5 more years and the forum would go into meltdown.

Kids make mistakes so we will be rocks and diamonds albeit we have been rocks far more, however I was a keen observer to Galvin and Da Silva last weekend and their combination, they looked excited to be playing together when TDS scored and you can see that combination working with Api and Luai . We need another Samuela Fainu for the second row and some pace for the wings. I hold out hope that fire sales at some of the clubs towards the end of the season may see us pick up a few decent depth players and experience with Parramatta and Newcastle already looking at their rosters.

Why does he deserve better?

Would not of had an opportunity to play NRL from the first game of the season anywhere else, would be a complete imbecile to think about going anywhere before he gets to play a season with Luai and seeing where that leads.
I hear what you saying. On the same token it will be sad when he leaves. Thats why I guess.

He was crap at the warriors before that & parra got him for a steal. Got his big contract with us & all motivation disappeared
Slow down.. how or why did he get a big contract? And can I have the names of the coaches where he was shite and when he excelled.

There is no way he ‘deserves’ a shot at a title. He’s been in first grade for 20 minutes. Beyond effort which is 100%, he is only doing roughly half of what a top line 5/8 needs to do.

The hype of anyone who shows promise in our team is beyond crazy.
Yes. I read your comment last night. And I totally understand and respect your POV. For myself - I believe (doesn't mean im correct cause I hardly ever am) that Galvin is one of those players that come through our system once a generation. And I totally agree with your last sentence.

Not my preferred option but yes if we can improve on the coach we’ve got.
We can’t ever stop looking until we get some consistent results.
Agree with your other comments.
