We can still make the finals even if we lose both games

I said this last week but it is becoming a real possibility now.

If the Titans lose either of their last games, the Bulldogs beat the Raiders and the Cowboys beat the Knights then in the final round Newcastle beat Canberra and we don't get pumped in either game then we will make the eight. I would suggest that all of those results are the likely ones too.

Just saying. Certainly don't want the team to think like that though. We've been in this position before I fear lol. 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006 … I am getting flashbacks.

Well I definitely don't want to rely on scraping in after losing the last 3 games.

Let's win both remaining games.

Well if we lose both remaining games the Broncos aren't going to have a say in it. If we win one though, yes very much so. I'd go as far as saying if we beat the Rooster's we're in. We'll find out next week though. I expect the Dogs, Knights and Broncos to all lose next week which would mean that we'd definitely be in if we win. Short of the Raiders beating the Knights by a cricket score in the final round.

The Dogs getting beat by Canberra won't help us. The Raiders play the Warriors in the last round who i think they'll give it to

I thought the Raiders play the Knights? Damn I've been had! In saying that I don't think the Raiders are certs to beat the Warriors anyway. Raiders are super inconsistent and the Warriors are still the Warriors and capable of spanking a team if they get in the mood.

But yes that changes things. If we lose both games the Raiders only have to beat the lowly ass Warriors. So let's defeat the Roosters kthx.

Thatd give a whole new spin on ''limping into the semis"….11/13 - might make history

I wonder how long we'd last?

Yeah was thinking about that myself, but without sounding too one eyed, I think we would offer a bit more than both the Raiders and Knights to be honest.

We play the biggest part in where we finish

Have to win at least 1 to have a chance

Because we'd still beat the Sharks lol. The Sharks literally cannot beat us. It is rules of nature.

And then what? Wed play either the Dogs, Manly, Souths, Melbourne or the Cowboys. The latter two in their states.

No point limping into the finals. If "anything can happen", then we should win the next 2 games, not think about losing them and still making the playoffs.

I'd prefer Canberra in the 8 then us, at least they could go on a run. We're just making up numbers.

this

Don't see much point if we aren't going in on the back of wins, especially since we'll be missing Robbie. We'll need some momentum to do anything I reckon.
