We have to get the right coach going forward...

Madge has done a really good job holding the club together post Cleary and rebuilding...

But it is fairly evident at this point he does not have the coaching ability / game plans to go to the next level. His bench use is terrible...he repeats his own errors.....there is absolutely no structure in attack...and the D cracks 90% of games as soon at tested.

We need a much better coach in terms of game plans at this point. **We have a host of young, talented, players coming through. The future 'can' be bright, but we need to get it right.**

As I said, Madge has done his job...post Cleary he was the right man for it. But it is really clear at this point he is not the man for it now / going forward. Go and get a Ciraldo / someone young and modern. We, literally, have no attack other than Luc and Laurie trying stuff themselves. And the D has no resilience.

It is really important we get it right. The players need a much better tactician / they need to learn / they need much better bench use / they need much better strategy. He has failed really badly in all those areas for a long time now.

People will say "he does not miss tackles"...but he picks those who do. People will say "he does not drop balls", but he oversees the same mindless game plan each week that sees them not know what to do or where to run.

The team collapses almost every week 25 min mark on...yet the bench use never changes or adapts. Think about that...

Whilst I admire the loyalists, we need much better coaching skill. Actual tactics (his assistants did most of that at Souths) and actual game plans (he has never had anything other than bash and barge / kick high). We need more.

Have we got our rock bottom yet. Still don't think we've hit it.

Our defensive coach needs the sack now. Until we move off our line and start hitting in defense we will always be pond scum. I've had enough. Shame on you WTs team and coaching staff.

I dont want to give this group of players the chance to take out another scapegoat... I dont know that Madge is the answer, but I want the players blood now, we sacrificed enough coaches at the alter.

The difference between last weeks effort and the last 50 mins this week is purely mental, and not the kind any pep talk can rectify. These flogs lack heart and pride, not just in the jersey but in themselves. Pretenders.

So his job was to make this club go backwards because that's the only job he's done successfully 🤷‍♂️. He's been woeful as a coach and you'd confidently say he's lost the dressing room again.

Coaches live and die by the results so I understand people calling for Madge's head but I don't think anyone knows what he's doing wrong exactly. Little things like MCK at centre or buying Joey L etc are not the result this team is losing.

I agree that we need to be looking to move Madge on but I still think it has to be at the end of his contract. If you watch the reserves and even our team the defensive structures can be good. I am sure they are being coached correctly but we lack the ability to execute well consistently.

We have a much better squad as can be seen by how good our reserve grade team is going but we lack some quality and we are building.

The only reason I say move the coach on at the end of his contract is that we aren't performing to the level that we are capable of. I agree that Madge doesn't appear to the coach to get the guys playing above their level yet alone at their level.

It certainly doesn't help when we seem to have a team of football players with incredibly low footy IQ.

Honestly, it's just never ending the amount of stupid things we do game to game. this does not occur in other teams i swear

I agree with that, but they are Madge's picks / Madge's recruits / and they are playing Madge's game plan (which is so basic it is embarrassing)

Ultimately, it is on him.

He was the right man post Cleary...but he is not the right man to take these guys to the next level.

Miakele being dropped was a bad decision. He has been good but just getting limited minutes. Seyfarth is a worker. Tamou is a worker. Twal is a worker. It was the wrong decision to play Seyfarth this week.

Those little decisions make a difference.

3 seasons in and look what was dished up today ..yes Madge is done !
New coach for 2022 that is the reality unfortunately the club can not afford for this mediocrity to continue if they do it will be there downfall!

Yes...a few people criticised me for saying MCK was a poor pick...

But what happened today on his edge has happened EVERY time he has been picked at center...

It was beyond stupid. I don't see how Madge or anyone expected a different result.

Ciraldo would be very good...and, most importantly, he is loved by a lot of young players, including Blore / Laurie and co. He is a modern, tactical, coach.

Miakele is not first grader as with probably 60% of the present team time to see the reality for what it is .

Hartigan is not the type to be caught off guard. I'd be surprised if a replacement has not been previously discussed.

I think one bench forward is irrelevant to a 40 point loss.

It's a team of misfits and individuals. They're all trying to use Wests Tigers as a way to bolster their highlight reel and work on their game while a better offer comes along. They don't care if the team wins or loses.

As is John Morris these coaches have moved quickly with the changing game not just the 5 up and kick Madge!

We can’t persist with this for another two games let alone two seasons. He’s done, it hasn’t worked. Time to part ways

Here’s hoping Canberra continue there bad form and sack Ricky Stuart cause I’d take him over Madge any day of the week... no threat in attack whatsoever don’t even look the tinest bit dangerous, while having no defensive prowess at all

Players play a part, but we have no direction from the top and it’s showing as each week passes through, as Madge represents the brand of footy we’re playing and it’s not pretty
