I know that people in the know, on this forum, have stated it won’t happen BUT we should bring Robbie back.

Give it a rest Chief - the guy is done and dusted.

We have moved on.

We have moved on and backwards as well with our number 9s

We have moved forwards with Liddle - unfortunately he is still to come back from rehab.

I was thinking after watching the reggies go around that Drinkwater at 9 might work. Good passing game, great kicking game. Not sure his defence is up to it though.
Would have to be a better option than Godinet at least.

Gamble is just not ready. He's promising and will likely be a good to very good first grader but not yet. Just watched him in ISP hoping for signs he's ready but he's not there yet. Today's game was a good opportunity but he didn't take it. He needs time to develop his game. I think he could be knocking on the door late this season but should be a real contender in 2019.

The two hooker rotation has to end after the debarkle at Campbelltown. The service from both over 3 rounds has been average and have stiffled our attack.
One of them must be retained for now to start but Gamble must be in our 17\. Either Brooks Marshall or Thompson to play dummy half. Thoughts….

1.Thompson
6\. Lolohea if ready
7.Brooks
9 Liddle or Reynolds

Well I hope Liddle is the messiah everybody seems to think he is, otherwise we're stuck with the rotation we have. Frankly I don't see him being all that great and he is always damn injured! We will just have to make it work as it is, cause there is no way Farah will be back here!

Hey Spudley.
If you haven't seen much of J.Liddle then don't be to concerned mate.
He's quick on his feet and in his head, he backs himself near the line and delivers out in front.
by far the best option we have and in my opinion streaks ahead of Farah.
has a good resume coming through the grades and i know he's been in wars with injury lately but the same happened to Tedesco and well….....nuff said.
Hope you enjoy watching him upon his return.

It would be even further backwards if farah came back…

We may well be surprised about who is being spoken to about the hooker problem,
Ivan is no dope;and would know about the problem and I can’t see him ignoring it

This article suggests it will go that way.

I wouldn't rush Reynolds back, hamstrings are funny like that. If Lolohea is ready to go I would imagine he'll slot in at 6\. Tuesday will be interesting nonetheless.

I don’t mind what IC names as the team this week. We have injuries. To be honest I don’t know better than the coach. I am not paid for that. Speculating in all seriousness is a waste of time. I would like to see how Tyson goes but will leave it to the pro’s to make those calls. We are going great guns! Better than the bookies, other clubs, supporters etc expected. By the time the finals come. We will be respected! And if we make it we will give it a good shake no doubt. If this happens then a great year. As we are only going to get stronger! Now it’s time for the Cleary Era!.

Can anyone confirm if Gamble has any sort of injury..

I missed this weeks game but some reports that he looked off.

The previous week i thought he started really well but then struggled in the last 20 minutes. Either fitness or injury?

I've only seen about 20min of him so far, but I'd say he sure as hell doesn't lack any confidence. A spot in the NRL side would need to be managed well by Cleary and others, as they would, of course. I trust what ever decisions they make if Marshall is unavailable.

I just had my operation.
Recovery going great thanks.
Forgive and forget.
Rebuild bridge please. Call it road to semis.
Sign Farah ASAP.

Drinkwater should never make 1st grade. Absolute liability. Average ISP player at best.

That is why he only has an ISP contract and not part of the 30.

Why would you think he is being considered for NRL - apart from the fact he is playing quite well and kicking quite well.

Hi Patriot

There was one incident where the usual forum suspects doubted Tyson's fitness after he hunched over. In actual fact he took a shoulder in the Solar Plexus in the tackle and appeared to be winded. He got up again and there was no other issue.

Some interesting points:
1\. Wyong targeted Gamble's right edge in the first half and were unsuccessful - 18-2 half time
2\. Gamble did some nice things in particular a nice line break and some nice offensive and defensive kicking
3\. In the second half Wyong shifted their attack to our left edge and in particular successfully targeted Tali, Drinkwater and Fonua
4\. It was a difficult game to make an assessment because we dropped plenty of ball - we virtually gifted Wyong the game

Luke Garner was again the standout

The game is available on Channel Nine https://www.9now.com.au/nsw-intrust-super-cup/season-2018/episode-3
Have a look under the Gamble thread because there are some nice comments by Benji

Thanks Freddy.

I trust your match report, seems much more fair and measured than the " usual forum suspects " as you call them.

I thought he looked to be blowing hard in the last twenty of the last game. It was a stinking hot day but it does make wonder if he can handle 80 NRL minutes.

I have no issue with his class, mental focus or his defence.

Just my opinion from some previous posts suggesting we look at him for 1st's.

Don't agree with you that he has been playing well. Has so in spurts but we need it for 80 and he is nowhere near that.
