I agree, who cares, right? On Foxtel (Kayo) the team are pretty pro-Tigers after the wins, it wasn't so much about Broncos expecting to win.
With Channel 9, they are always more sensationalist than pay TV, always covering the game with a narrative. They aren't just talking pure on-field footy, they have all this other stuff they pedal before and after the game.
That narrative at the moment is the decline of the Broncos and the apparent failure of the massive decision they made last year. Seibold's fairytale from Souths is wearing off and the bloke he replaced has kept the engine running at Souths. And now these Broncos legends coming out and speaking against the current culture, the decisions being made, how Kevvy Walters should have been given the job etc.
So Tigers get a bit lost in all that talk. And Broncos being such a big-town side, relatively modest levels of failure are panic stations for their administration and followers.
