By the time we got onto the marketplace and knew where we were going to be financially I would imagine it makes it impossible to go after those names as most were gone before we were in a position to move.

I was looking at the comparison chart on a forum of talent off contract this seasons end and next and I think it is a wiser move to **frontload some contracts** and have a better idea where some of our young forwards are at after a second full off season in the NRL squad.

It is frustrating but I believe there are better times ahead if we can finally clear ourselves from our last two CEO's the offload king and the backloader

X3\. Negotiate extended deal for Woods and a couple of other keepers, and pay overs next year with an eye to enter the market once we know whether our youngsters and recent signings are going to cut the mustard.

Regardless of who we buy to come into the club. They won't be an instant success. Patience goes a long wait to help building the club. What is the point of buying players when they may be "too old" in the 3 years. Then what? Raise the juniors we have?

We have heaps of talent at our club, it would be a massive insult to them if we started just buying up players.

Your missing the point, we need a good strong backrower not a small over 30 year old to go with the kids please read the post for what it says not what u think it says, please.

I agree mate even all these minor achievements its a disgrace how this club has turned into a wooden spoon contender when 2 years ago we were favourites???? What the f$&?$

Kennedy is the roosters version of Tim Moltzen or Adam Blair, they rip into him on the chook pen mercilessly

Personally I think he is fairly average, his best ever game was against us, which might skew the views of Tigers supporters.

I reckon you get similar performance from Buchanan, big work rate, without much impact
