We will win this one

We'll win - I hope. We can't possibly put on another shocker like last outing and there's so much to make up for our last display against the Knights. I'll be tipping them with very little confidence.

The Tigers had 60 put on them and turned up to play the following week. The Knights were in tears yesterday, they will come out ready to play. They will see this game as one of their few chances to get another win this season. If Taylor and Ballin play we should get over the line in a close one.

Their last win was against us,and previous to that was against us also. If we lose to them this time,it's rock bottom.

We hit rock bottom about 4 years ago and have stayed there since

I think we will too. Yes we're terrible, but i don't think people appreciate just how bad the Knights are. As bad as we are, we have nothing on them. Coming off a loss, we'll win. Probably won't be pretty but we'll get over the line.

I have to agree with you.The knights look like an "A" grade side and if our team has any self respect they should win.

Look I was positive jt would have enforced more changes or tweeks to the team. But now that he hasn't I really don't care if we win or not.
If we lose surely he has to either as we know their form split the halves up….or face the axe himself with possibly 4 loses to the hapless knights over his tenure.

The Sims lads will play themselves into Rep Jerseys against our mob - they will look like the second comings of Bradley Clyde, and Paul Sironen. Akilla the thriller will score tries and get the pundits asking why he's still not in Sky Blue, and Hokdinson will of course return from injury against our boys, and also play himself into Blues contention.

It's like Shannon Boyd - He looked BRUTAL against the tigers, however he looks like George Rose on a bad day vs all the other teams in the comp.

For once, I just want to see the Tigers kick someone whilst they are down, not the other way around.

we need to lose this so JT will get sacked.

its the sad truth.

What happens if we lose and he doesn't get sacked?

I want every win we can get. I said before that Taylor must have an iron clad contract because he doesn't seem to be under any pressure. You'd think by now there would be some rumours at the very least.

I reckon we lose and Taylor keeps his job.

I have lost faith, when you actually look at the commitment shown last week and our piss poor game plan, structures whatever JT bangs on about we would struggle to beat the bye.

JT and his structures. I can't think of anything funnier. Maybe the dudes that believed what he said.

Nothing will change after this week win or lose we will still be stuck with a hopeless coach.Unfortunately the people who made the decision to sign him dont seem to want to admit they stuffed up.

I don't know whether it is just me remembering painful losses more than forgetting expected wins, but it always seems that we struggle against low ranking teams. I'm not happy with anecdotal evidence, so it is time to delve into the hard stats.

Here is our performances against the worst teams in the comp each year:

2000: Cowboys won 4 games, including 2 from 2 against us
2001: Penrith won 3 games, including 2 from 2 against us
2002: Souths won 5 games, including 1 from 2 against us
2003: Souths won 3 games, including 2 from 2 against us
2004: Souths won 5 games, including 1 from 2 against us
2005: Knights won 8 games, including 0 from 1 against us
2006: Souths won 3 games, including 0 from 2 against us
2007: Penrith won 8 games, including 0 from 2 against us
2008: Bulldogs won 5 games, including 1 from 2 against us
2009: Roosters won 5 games, including 0 from 2 against us
2010: Cowboys won 5 games, including 0 from 2 against us
2011: Titans won 6 games, including 1 from 2 against us
2012: Parra won 6 games, including 0 from 2 against us
2013: Parra won 5 games, including 1 from 2 against us
2014: Sharks won 5 games, including 0 from 2 against us
2015: Knights won 8 games, including 2 from 2 against us

Total: Wooden spooners have won 84 from 388 games (22%). Against us, they have won 13 from 31 (42%).

From 2000 to 2004, the wooden spooners won 8 from 10 games (80%). I think this is where my hatred of these games comes from.

However, from 2005-2014, we only lost 3 from 19 games (23%). That is almost as good as the total of all clubs.

2015 was the first time in 12 years that we lost all our games against the spooners. Has our first 5 years come back to haunt us?

Doesn't matter whether JT has an ironclad contract or not, nothing will alter the players lack of ability, heart, commitment and the fact that the Knights WILL beat us again, the players are going through the motions only.
