Welcome back

Before Moltzen suffered his injury against the Cowboys, he complimented Benji big time when he used to chime in. He also had a great understanding with Farah. If I do remember correctly when Moltzen first hit the scene, his stats whilst he was playing halfback read something like 7 wins from 8 games, he definitely provided spark. His debut I think was against the Dragons at the SCG and I can't remember which player suffered a serious injury 5-10 minutes into the game when Moltzen was called upon to debut, I haven't got a super memory to recall debuts, but Moltzens has stuck, he was awesome. Going back to his injury against the Cowboys, playing at fullback, I don't care what people say or think of him, he was an absolute gun player. I remember saying to friends as he got carried off, we can't win the comp without him, don't remember the year.

Not a fullbacks arsehole, but I'd have him in the centres at the moment. We desperate need some speed and ability to hit a gap there.

Doesn't he also have a steel plate in his head from his younger footy days. Say what you like about his football. No one can question his determination and get back on the horse attitude. We can all learn from that!! I hope he has a healthy career from now on. God knows he's had a tough run.

It's a simple equation for Moltz - if he can play without being a pea-heart, he has all the other skills required to be a permanent member of our FG side. I have seen him play courageous footy, just not consistently - but the potential is there.

He is infinitely superior to Kurtis Rowe, so behind Moses, Moltz would be 3rd in line for the FB or 5/8 gig.

Ideally however he would play centres, or perhaps even wing, considering we already have a preferred 1 / 6 / 7 combination.

Good luck to the bloke,he surely does deserve some, and yes he has played centre at NRL level, and yes he is a way better option than Thompson or Lulia.

Tim has a good knack in finding the Try Line… If he can get a few games under his belt, I'd really like to see him in the 6 jumper as we hit the finals. His experience will be good out there directing the team around the park!

You might be right, I can remember him bring the ball back, stepping and his leg going. I was presuming he was presuming his run came from fullback, but yeah I might be wrong.

Experience and direction, two very underrated qualities, particularly on this forum, and exactly what our side seemed to be lacking last week.

Yes true the Moltz from years ago was awesome but the one over the last 3 years was not so awesome.
Welcome back Moltz and good luck.

Never been a fan but he deserves a break with injuries. Hope he can stay healthy and show us what he's got.

Lathami, your the blind Freddie champ. Injuries in every conceivable position struggling to put a team together most weeks And somehow had a chance to
Get to the finals. Like to see any coach do better with what he had to deal with heck why don't you try.

I agree, would like to see him reach his full potential. 😛ray:

Yep, the fact we were even in contention is an impressive feat. Pick another side in the comp and put them in a similar position with injuries. How would they fare?
