My point is not that the tackle wasn;t a bad one, it quite obviously was - the 3 weeks is a fair enough penalty, probably even valid, and the decision to accept it is quite an obvious one.
My point was that he didn;t intentionally go in for a shoulder charge - the last minute contact on his legs turned what would have probably been a good aggressive hit into a reckless, chargeable mess.
Anyway, I'm still enjoying the afterglow of a good win - hope you are too 🙂

Coming back from injury he turns in a 2/10 performance , gets binned in a game we are controlling and then misses three weeks with suspension. Deadset when we interviewing prospects do we base it on how many times they say “yeah nah” ?

Wests are the worst judges of character going. If this Fulton bloke can judge personality better it’s a massive win.

Would be interesting to hear how he judges the character of Josh Shuster.

I don’t think he made contact with the head but he didn’t use his arms at all.

Exactly. It's professional footy. You can't do that stuff.

I think it was @Halbrowne61 asked me why I like Joe O. Joe O is a professional in that he doesn't do dumb stuff. Sure he can make a mistake but plays like that lose you games.

I reckon Naden can play but he isn't performing as well as he can and he needs to tighten up his game.

Don't have to hit them in the head if it's a shoulder charge (not using arms to tackle) and it's reckless.

Probably would've only got a couple weeks if he didn't have a prior offence too.

After KR clarified the tackle was regarded as reckless with no actual contact needed, plus Nadens previous record, it seems that was enough.
