Wests Tigers will host four blockbusters at Bankwest Stadium in 2020, headlined by the traditional Easter Monday clash against the Parramatta Eels in Round 5.

Determined to make amends for last year's poor result at the opening of Bankwest Stadium, Wests Tigers will now play host to the traditional clash for the first time since 2016 when over 36,000 fans watched the contest at ANZ Stadium.

With a strong crowd again expected for the Round 5 clash between two modern Sydney rivals, it's certainly a strong clash for Wests Tigers to launch their defence of Our Jungle at Bankwest Stadium throughout the 2020 season.

Match: Wests Tigers v Eels
ROUND 5 - MONDAY 13TH APRIL

Michael Maguire's side will return to the venue in Round 14 for their second home game against another Sydney side with plenty to play for — the Penrith Panthers looking to bounce back from their thrashing in Magic Round in 2019.

The Friday Night clash will feature as the club's annual Legends Day with a host of former Wests Tigers, Balmain and Western Suburbs players set to cheer on the side's modern players in what is sure to be an emotion-filled night.

Wests Tigers will then play back-to-back home games at the venue when they face the Dragons in their only Thursday night game of the season before taking on the defending champion Sydney Roosters on Friday night in Round 18.

Maguire's men know they let one slip against the Tricolours in their clash at the venue in 2019 and will be out to stake their claim as an elite side in the competition when they welcome the boys from Bondi to town this time around.

Please note that while Wests Tigers will have several away matches at the venue in 2020 (Eels in Round 13, Rabbitohs in Round 17 and Bulldogs in Round 24), Wests Tigers Members will not have reciprocal access as was also the case in 2019.

Wests Tigers Members can gain access to all four home games at Bankwest Stadium in 2020 from just $89 for kids and $119 for adults — terrific value for what will no doubt be four high-quality games of football against Sydney rivals.

You beat me to it. Might be clutching at straws but, of all the pictures they could have pulled up, they chose one featuring LM. Is it too much to think it might be a cheeky little clue of what is coming shortly.

Apparently LM and Twal are best mates

When are they knocking down ANZ? We are costing ourselves money playing at bankwest looking at the crowds last few years:
2014: 50,668
2015: 35,510
2016: 36,112
2017: 28,249
2018: 30,420
2019: 29,047 (bankwest)

Insert similar sort of outcry to people not being able to get tickets to last game at Leichhardt last year.

So if they are pulling down ANZ where should we play this game?

Parra only got about 24k for their opener against us.

29047 was posted BB. Sellout I think.

I was there. Thousands of empty seats. The top tier wasn't even half full at the ends.

They may have sold 29k tickets, but they sure as hell didn't show up.

The recent WSW v SFC game had a much bigger crowd.
