Wests Tigers did have a few things which certainly helped them;

1. Newcastle's big winger (number 20) was an enormous help. He seemed all at sea and very slow to react throughout the match. Tigers picked up on this very early in the match. I stopped counting the number of Wests Tigers tries he let in.
2. Clearly all is not well in the Newcastle camp and their coach seems to have already switched off.

Wests Tigers played like a good side and made use of every advantage. Well done Wests tigers and Madge.

Tigers were relentless start to finish. I won massive tonight Sharks 19+ And Tigers pick your own line at -30.5. I had. A suspicion Knights were divided and we are playing hard. Biggest win I’ve ever had by a long way. Massive.

Tigers defence was great and Benji, Brooks orchestrated a massacre.

No hookers left, players out left right and centre and he managed to change the right things to get the team firing at the business end.

Have to keep it going, but Madge is light years ahead of our past couple of coaches.

👍 It also proved Benji has a future in coaching if he chooses. He demanded to play hooker and also led Brooks with quality ball where he wanted it. With Brooks running game and short off the hip pass he needs a half back style hooker. At least poor ET wasn’t hooker I couldn’t watch another game.

How’s about Anasta’s commentary after Jennings’ try in the first half. Don’t know if anyone else noticed but after whinging about Marsters not being penalised for playing Ponga rather than the ball he said “& now all the momentum is going the *wrong* way” before correcting himself with “but the Tigers have been the better side so far”.
