I'd have like to see how we would have gone with the same amount of penalties as Souths. Souths outclassed us in the end and made the most of our chances, but any fair judge would have to say we didn't get a fair crack at them tonight. Full credit to the boys for having a dig, but until we add some class we'll keep getting done like this.

We did get screwed by the officials but fair dinkum we did some dumb things and our ball control was not first grade standard. The defence on our line was not energetic enough either.

We undid a lot of our own good work, the refs piggybacked them downfield and their class did the rest. Frustrating game.

Yep I agree. This game was there to win the same as last week.

Dallin would look good in that left centre position. I don’t think Momirovski has what it takes.

I think MCK is possibly our best option in the centres.

I thought he was sharp. The boys need to back him up. That will lead to points.

Quick summation. Refs were poor. The score flattered them, I never felt like he were going to get belted (except maybe the first ten minutes).
Statistically we held up well but the penalties, and more importantly their timing, gave them a huge advantage.
I think "Momers' is a year or two away from first grade. I'm not willing to write him off from this game. He looks like he needs a weight program.
Noffo was good - over 200m and didn't shirk the hard yards. Liddle was good as well but was battling a fast (often offside) defensive line.
Mats was poor tonight but has been good lately.
Corey, what can you say, he was outstanding.
I'm disappointed - as I always am after a loss - but I feel the team can compete with anyone on our day.

@boonboon I can not make a judgment on Momo , every time he was given the ball in an attacking position he was jammed into the sideline, his defence looked ok though.

Liddle was good service was great asked a lot of questions ..stiff not to get 3 or 4 penalties engaging the markers but that wasn't in the script tonight..
