West Tigers Worst Ever Wins

A wins a win, but put Burton, Naden ,the fox, TPJ into the Dog side and the score would be a mile in their favour. My point is, they have something to get excited about we have nothing

okay i think we can all agree that , the win today was pretty bad.... disgusting really

got my thinking of what everyone's opinion was on the worst ever wins west tigers have had

Honestly, many of our wins this year have felt this way. It's an empty feeling.

Yup 100% … non of them have felt good

Well, its the sort of game we often lose(see last week vs Warriors),but having said that the Dogs are truly awful. They'll be 15-20 points better next year...we wont.
Whats truly disappointing is our inability to break the line for tries...we resort to the aerial route as a first resort when in the opponents 20..we have no other plan..
,..and everything we do with the ball is oh so slow and predictable.

Fully. I'm not excited for 2022 at all. Looks awful from here.
If we don't recruit then it will be a bloody miracle if we don't win the spoon next year.

There was a game in 2012 when Parramatta scored five tries in 15 minutes that has scarred me. I think we ended winning by a point.

I think our defence this year has been abysmal but after the last two weeks I think our attack is probably worse. You would think by August the team would have some teamwork and plays going, but we look like a team put together for a one off game where players have come together from far and wide for a one off game

Why can't we just enjoy the win. There is enough negativity around here with numerous issues. Please don't look for negative topic threads.

Recall a similar win last year against the Dogs to keep the season on life support. BJ scored a try on the edge late. It’s just the same crap different year. End of year review will result in an email showing a few graphs.

Being real and calling a spade a spade shows self-awareness.
I'm happy we do this rather than live in fairy land and pretend it was a good win.

That game at Leichhardt against Melbourne I think it was. Maybe 2006?

Up 30-6 with 20 odd mins to go, ended up 30-28

Are you thinking of the game against Parra? We lead 31-0 with 15 to go, and the full time score ended up 31-30

There’s that one too, but the one I’m thinking of definitely happened, just can’t remember the year. Walked out feeling like we got pumped

Yeah Melbourne at Leichhardt. Hodgson kicked 1 from 7 or something awful. Didn’t look like losing but they scored twice in the final 3 minutes.

It was a polished turd.

That’s right Tuiaki scored in the corner with seconds left

Nah we were up 30-4 or something like that - 7 tries, 1 goal or something crazy. I remember being in the corner, hill side, non Keith Barnes, we were killing it and throwing flick passes getting cocky. Then they scored 4 tries in the final 15, the last two in the final few minutes, the last one on the siren. Should have won 50-4 won 30-28. Well that’s how I remember it anyway!

I just want to commend the Bulldogs: even when Tigers are trying to be as bad as possible and invite them back into the game, Bulldogs refuse to let anyone take their mantle as the seriously worst team going around. True champions of mediocrity.

I’ve tried to block the stickers out. Must have been some bad ones in the 2001-2003 era. I remember a couple at Leichhardt, one where we took forever to get in front of the Warriors I think. Scored the winner with less than 5 to go Keith Barnes end. And another in the rain maybe against a depleted Storm where we finally went ahead on a cross field kick late on.

During the 8 in a row the win against Canberra when we were 0-14 down, we were rubbish for 60 minutes.

Obviously Parramatta 31-30 was terrible. I seem to recall the game where Benji kicked the 50m field goal on half time we just scraped home after a poor second half.

Another one at Cronulla at Leichhardt where we only won because we got a dodgy penalty late on.

Not the worst game I’ve seen but it’d be up there.

Higher standard of play in the InTrust Super cup from the games I’ve watched.
