Doesn't look like it. I have mates who support both clubs and it doesn't look like there were dramas.

None that I know of

x 2 .. was at the game last night as well and it was all good. fantastic supporters for the wanderers and the fc fans were well and truly heard. liked one of the banners raised in the rbb that read " rebecca wilson should worry more about the RBT rather than the RBB ". credit should be given where credit is due and the atmosphere and crowd at the stadium was absolutely enormous. the whole event was a credit ti the A-league.

" rebecca wilson should worry more about the RBT rather than the RBB "

LMAO!

Only 5 arrests….not bad for 18k+

Tried to watch the game....I dont mind soccer but could not get into it last night....I find it boring

Its a world away from EPL which I can watch easily

Don't worry Ink you can get some EPL games that are absolute stinkers as well

West Ham v Sunderland game recently was just this , feel asleep four times during the game

Would of been more exciting watching paint dry or grass grow to be honest

I didn't actually find out what it said till after the game. I just remember people on both sides looking over and clapping and/or laughing at the banner. She deserved it though, the Hillsborough comments during the week were disgusting (but not out of character).

Juric didn't have a very good game, Hersi was incredible.

Yeah they were very ordinary to say the least.

I thought Hersi was a little on the poor side for me tonight. He's played many stronger matches. He put in a few balls that were just head-scratchers. And Juric struggled to imprint himself too and missed the rebound.

Spiranovic has to go to Brasil. That bloke just screams quality cental defender.

I don't know if you know either, but that bloke who played at right fullback in the place of Polenz; that was 16 year old Alessi making his debut. I was impressed with his performance though now I've seen his age, I'm ultra-impressed. What a talent!

I heard about Alessi before the game, a solid showing considering the occasion and his age. He's probably never played in front of a crowd of 1800 let along 18000.

Hersi made some good runs and seemed to be giving the smurfs defence grief all night, and I believe he put the cross in for Santa to score. He turned a bit of ball over, but the whole team was guilty of that tonight.

Agreed about Spiranovic, he's a much better player than Lucas Neill, it would be worth trying him and Williams as a CB pairing for the national team.

Hersi did put that ball in that Santalab scored from. He tried all night like he and all Wanderers do. I just thought our central defense and Alessi were fairly solid and closed down almost every opportunity.

I like that centre back pairing. And most importantly both players aren't slow, have match fitness and are young. The Asian Cup in 2015 should be the real target of success for Ange and co.

The boys have the 3rd match against the Victory already today. A slight anomaly in the draw.
It will be interesting go see who Popovic names with 3 games in 8 days and some injury issues at right back and centre midfield.

Agree about putting a true central defender in instead of Lucas Neill

Neill has done the job admirably in the past , but he has only done it as we had no quality central defenders and he doesn't have the speed to play that central role anymore (despite what he thinks and says )

That was a pretty disappointing loss tonight. Careless sounds harsh but also fits right. Way too many turnovers and some poor defending against a clinical Victory means that's the 3rd loss of the season. They'll need to better come Sunday to beat Adelaide.

Strong performance tonight by the boys, blew them off the park.

It was a great performance. We were tearing through the Glory defense almost all game.

Two weeks until the return game between the Roar and Wanderers

Should be a good game again (well for the Roar anyway  )

Hahaha it should be a good game. The Roat are playing fairly good football and that was probably the best performance by the Wanderers this season. We still have numerous players out in Polenz, LaRocca, Juric as well as a couple more so hopefully they'll be close to full fitness.

WSW will have to improve tenfold if they are going to beat Brisbane.

They are the only team that I believe will win the league this year.

Adelaide still worry me CB ,if they make the finals they could do anything imo

I think they have just realized how good a side they can be

I wrote off the Mariners beforehand but I think they can still win the title now. Adelaide too are a chance but I think the Wanderers and the Roar are the two favourites and that's fair enough. They're squad depth is a bit better and are proven performers.

A 2-2 in Newcastle. I was going to go but my Smurf mate is moving to Canada so we had drinks to celebrate him leaving instead. I'm glad I didn't go as it would have been a tough drive home. That one definately felt like a loss.

Something we are hoping to repeat for you Peaches

The feeling of another loss

I can feel a win coming this Friday night. Anything else pretty much guarantees Brisbane the premiers plate haha

It's very hard to tell right now, I think injuries and performance of January transfers will be key. I think Palace and Cardiff will go straight back down, the last one I am unsure about. WBA and Norwich are the two I feel the worst about, but Fulham could really go either way. They've loaned in some good players but they've also loaned out some good players. I think the Hammers and Hull will stay up and I think Stoke, Sunderland and Swansea have enough talent to avoid the drop. Villa despite only being 5 points clear (in 10th place) have enough teams behind them to screw up and should comfortably stay up. Southampton and the rest of the sides are far enough clear that relegation isn't an issue for them.
