An away goal will be crucial imo

If the wanderers can jag the first goal of the game away, the pressure on alhilal will be immense.
Fingers crossed happy, anything can happen in football.
Look at WHAM last night !

Yep they played well

You had to wake me up before I goed goed last night  , it was pretty unbelievable

Absolutely burning. I can only watch the first half. Doing the Sydney to Gong ride with an early start.Go the Wanderers. It will be a tough match.

I was absolutely burning that my soccer club changed the presentation date to last Saturday. It was the first home game I've missed since our 3rd ever home match and it was a Champions League final. Fuming! My side had a really successful season so I couldn't brush the presentation. Absolutely spewing I missed it but even more thrilled with the 1-0 win.
We were totally outplayed until Juric come on. He made a difference and they became very nervous which gives me hope we can score an away goal and really pressure Al-Hilal who have been the definition of arrogance in the lead up to the second final. Some of the press and their words to the media and their fans are unbelievable.
More then 200 Wanderers fans applied for visas but due to the ridiculous laws they have over there and whatnot, we've only got the 14 fans from western sydney with one female going who has to be in the care of a family member or husband at all times. Yeah it's a bit backwards. In saying that, a few expats have apparently brought tickets as well as rivals of Al-Hilal who are very much supporting the Wanderers so it might not be a totally blue stadium.
It would be a tremendous achievement for Australian football and Australian sport. Perhaps rivaling the Americas Cup with a club only just into it's 3rd year winning a major continental trophy. Hopefully it'll be third time lucky.

This was the TIFO the RBB unveiled at the first Asian Champions League match. The Wanderers feared no one and have now conquered all of Asia.
What an unbelievable achievement that the Wanderers were able to win the Asian Champions League and be continental champions within 3 years of existence. It's up there with the greatest sporting achievements in Australia's history.
Covic was immense and the Wanderers were lucky today not have two penalties awarded against. I could see the refs decision reasoning in both instances. The first the player looked to make more of the contact that was there and in the second, the ball was heading out regardless of contact. He was the ref in the opening game in the World Cup where Brazil were given a penalty which wasn't there. He was roasted and he will probably be roasted again.

Why is it called a TIFO instead of large banner/sign...is it another language, or does it stand for something?

Not sure mate, it's an Italian term

Despicable sportsmanship shown by the Arab team. The use of lasers to the eyes of the goalkeeper and openly spitting on an opponent is gross unsportsmanlike and should not be tolerated by the governing body of that sport. No wonder I have absolutely no desire to travel to that part of the world. WSW stuck it right up 'em….Well done boys!

TIFO stands for Tits In Face Ok hahaha nah I wasn't actually sure what it meant but I know we call every specially made prematch display whether they be a pullover, card display or giant banner a TIFO.
Tifo - originally the Italian word for the phenomenon of supporting a sport team, is mostly used as a name for any spectacular choreography displayed by supporters on the terraces of an arena or stadium in connection with a sport event, mostly an association football match. - Wikipedia

Such an epic morning. Got up at 2 and went to Parra with some mates. The game itself was borderline unwatchable, but Covic was immense. After the class they displayed after the first leg, the Hilal fans were nearly as bad as the Evergrande fans here. Awesome achievement by a club so small and young. I still can't believe it. I remember after losing the first leg against Hiroshima that our run was over, then somehow we turned it around and went through against them, before knocking two huge clubs over as well as FC Seoul to lift the trophy. We had luck on our side for sure, but you need your share of luck to win these things.

Just a shame

Special atmosphere last night. I couldn't make either of the previous grand finals, but I made this one. Great to see Tomi and Spira back on the park, Tomi getting himself on the score sheet. Confident heading back to the middle east.

I must say, all the Hilal fans we saw on Church Street after the game were so polite and gracious. A far cry from the Evergrande mob who resort to death threats and childish name calling over social media.

Too bad those lovely Hilal fans you speak of were not quite as accommodating when we travelled to their land.Or their captain spitting at Spiranovic after earlier twice headbutting him.Hmmmm.Ante Covic needed corrective eye surgery this morning after all those lasers that were pointed in his eyes.I sometimes wonder why some people that get labelled lovely people with big happy smiley faces are also the first to point lasers in ones eyes and spit in peoples faces.

Yeah, it was night and day. I'm sure the dicks were a small minority, but I agree it was deplorable. They only need to cover the pitch the bottles and ram the team bus repeatedly to be on par with Evergrande. Oh well, we are the champions.

Congrats to the Wanderers , only watched the last 15 minutes as I must have fallen asleep

Massive result for our national game
