Wests Campbelltown

I didn't think of that. Good point.

So I guess we are back at square one.

For the JV to be successful and continue to represent the history of both Balmain and Magpies, we need independent owners involved so that magpies dont just take over... And I don't blame them for wanting to, that's their history... But it's a JV now and should be treated accordingly.
The best thing for Wests Tigers including the CEO, coach and players is to give the current controlling interest which is HBG one final chance to get things right based on the intervention and directive of PVL..
As I keep saying and I’m sure I’m sounding like a broken record, PVL will intervene with serious ramifications which I believe will be a likely loss of licence if he believes they continue to make bad decisions that leads to disharmony.
PVL does not wanted thousands of fans turning their backs on the club or the game, but he is also not going to be forced into anything when he already has a plan in place.

They don't really deserve the chance in my opinion. They've blown the place up enough times.

What you've suggested is the most likely outcome. But there's still nothing stopping them from imploding once again; so this only works if there's something in writing with the NRL around the standards that HBG must adhere to.

Appreciate your response though, others haven't responded yet.
