Wests Heritage round advertising

Bug, i agree with you.

i saw the advertisement in the paper and i wish i could say i was surprised. i thought taking the game away from the SCG and taking away anything to make it a special night would warrant a special effort from the tigers.

i appreciate the website.

I wont get too carried away, ill reserve judgement for friday night.

i would love to see the whinging from the balmain faction if orange was the tertiary colour.

We are one club now, but balmain and magpies will remain apart of us all, if any one can honestly tell me they feel no connection to their old club, if you were a magpie or a tiger, ill buy you a beer.

Irrelevant, what have others teams colours got to do with the WT, by the way most of those sides colours date from before they even had mascots, so their colours were never selected to signify their logo/mascot, same as Wests black and white had nothing to do with a Magpie and Balmain’s gold and black had nothing to do with a tiger.
 
I feel a very large connection , but I'm not going to have a nervous meltdown about the colour white Slacko . And that is what this argument is about the colour white and how the joint venture isn't 50-50 . WE ARE THE WESTS TIGERS NOW EVERYONE
 
Ok people, it seems there is a general consensus that I am over reacting in regards to the colours ! Well let's then just agree to make the dominate colours Black and White and I'm sure everyone will be happy and agree with that right ??

Both Cherry Pickers and Fruit Pickers and various times in their early years, Ashfield in the early 1900’s was predominantly orchards of various types, so most of the players were fruit pickers, hence the early names of cherry pickers and fruit pickers, clubs until 1929, early 30's didn't have official logos and at times went by different nicknames….the official Magpie mascot and moniker came into being around 1929.
 
Getting back on topic, hopefully FIB and his cohorts can get in the media in the next few days and rally up some great support for the game and plug it as hard as we can.

We need more Black, White and Orange in the Crowd than Red and White this time !!
 
I hope we don't see too much white in the crowd on Friday. It will look like the Dragon Fans. In fact I think we should ban white clothing for all Wests Tigers supporters
 
I got an orange jersey and I want to paint it black & white…..seriously Bug , it's been 11 years already .
I tell you what , I would be more than happy if the Wests Tigers rang out in All Black & White ,Magpies galore on it with the faintest orange "V" if we played all their Home
games at Leichhardt .... Is that a fair compromise
 
I agree Bug 50/50 is fair and while this year its been a bit Magpies centric overall it evens out - I am glad you have seen reality

Bug has been calling for 50/50 all along
the reason why no one ever sees that is is coz they can't get past the 'whinging magpie fan' perception
all he has ever done is call for things to be 50/50
it sucks when people refer to them as the 'black and golds'.If anyone referred to them as the 'black and whites' i know a large portion of the fan base would be up in arms
its all about equility.I've heard bug use that word 100 times,yet for some reason all his haters choose to ignore that

I think you will find the Best and Less etc merchandise is not official West Tigers merchandise. It is official NRL licenced and therefore the Wests Tigers may not have much to do with it other than collecting royalties. If it was official one would think that the West Tigers would be selling the same merchandise. This is my opinion and I'll stand corrected if proven wrong.

ON topic though, as an old Balmain supporter, it wouldn't worry me if the played in more white and black than orange. The white and black looks better. Only thing I want is the emblems to be there. West Tigers emblem with the maggies on the sleeves is all I ask for. The rest is irrelevant.

I'm not shooting anyone down, after all, everyone is entitled to an opinion. At the end of the day, we are all Wests Tigers supporters and a win on the weekend is all that matters
