Can't see why Packer makes so many teams here. I'd be shocked if he is named r1. Imo he needs to show something in cc first. Was not a good 2019 for him, albeit carrying an injury. He is a gap filler for injuries in 2020 imo. He is not the future, so hopefully the focus is on younger guys like Mikaele and Ollie Clark.

I agree, he hasn't played in god knows how long - I'd start Clark ahead of Packer as he has a better motor.

I spoke to him yesterday and he is keen to play in round 1. He acknowledged last year was not his best and sat next to Madge and ET so there is no feud. Jennings looked really fit as did Musgrove, expect him to fire this year.

Aloia and Mikaele look bigger and Josh mentioned that Mikaele broke Tapau’s dead lift record he set at the Tigers which is impressive for such a young man.

One thing I noticed with Aloiai last year was he had strong games when coming off the bench but struggled when starting.

I agree that Aloiai is better off the bench. I'd start with Twal and Musgrove/Packer and have Mikaele and Aloiai off the bench. They would provide great impact.

If he knocked over Taupau's deadlift then he is indeed very strong for his age and hopefully that shows on the field - hopefully he backs himself a bit more when carting the ball up. Would be great to see him develop a fend similar to Taupau...whack!
