Magpies are notorious for whinging , especially the juveniles.
Current logo is perfect ...
No need to blend in a magpie or add anything or use a cartoon logo like above .
27 sleeps to go until the comp starts.
Hang in there peeps !

I'm an old Balmain fan. I think the logo is juvenile.

The logo is fine ..
It’s basic and it works
The more complex a logo is
( Tiger with a magpie hidden in it )
Which is laughable imo.. the harder it is to embroider into clothing and to print onto merchandise.

Didn't realise painters knew about the complexities of embroidery but I did also say I didn't know if it was doable but if it was I think it would be a cool feature.

It's not any less laughable than the the current logo. It looks like a year 8 graphic design project.

That’s the whole point of the design to appeal to the kids.

Disagree. The kids of 2000 have all grown up and they seem to be the ones wanting change. There is a whole new current generation of kids that will find it just as appealing.

I don't follow them so I don't care. What an odd argument.

Jesus.
Can't we just leave it.... it's the only thing that hasn't changed at the club (except one minor change early)
We often whinge about tradition... Envy clubs with the same jersey.
This is not an issue imo

Leave it be!

Text on logos is such an outdated thing, lots of sporting teams around the world are modernising their logos by just having a simple mascot with no text.

Isn’t that we have?

As for the Briden stuff, maybe they have what they want?

He is talking about removing the Wests Tigers from the logo and just replacing it with a tiger.

Yes, didn’t read the post properly, however I’m OK with what we have.

I really like our current logo, its what resembles the WTs the most since inception...we all had to get used to it,particularly our brothers and sisters who were avid Maggies supporters...
In my honest opinion,we have a generation of kids that grew up knowing this logo and wanted to follow the "TIGERS"...Now,there are smaller kids who also only know this logo as the WTs who they love and support...
My point being if it "isnt broken,no need to fix it"...
We also have to go through jersey changes constantly and I know its a merchandise bonanza when they assemble a stunning jersey, but we need consistent artwork and colour to stay within the WTs theme that makes us stand out from the others....

I agree, it's the only thing that I identify with. They havn't settled on a home ground or a jersey design, it's the one constant.

agreed, hasn't changed since the 2000s and graphic design has evolved plenty in the last 21 years. it feels like we're coming into a new era at the club, it's about time our image reflected that.

Wouldn't mind a new design, although what I'd like more is to return to the gold colour scheme over the bright orange. At least for one of the jerseys next year. High quality colour for a brand new era.

I agree that the current logo is actually pretty good and served us well but very dated.
I've always thought the Bengals NFL logo would be a good choice as a possible updated design. Clean, relatively simple, has our three colours (the shade of colour could be changed easily) and would give fans a far greater choice of merchandise than any other club (NRL might not like that point).

Similar to the syle the panthers went for.
