If any things dated it's those Bengal logos

Yes they are but so is ours.

Only in your 40+ year old eyes.

Wow what an assumption.

The current wests tigers logo is great.

No change for changes sake.

Further to my last post.

I recall how bad the modernised bulldogs, sharks, broncos logos in past years.

Terrible.

The Tigers colours and logo are outstanding and i cant think of any better in the NRL

My vote is no change and more.... dont even think about it.

Yes, the best logo in the league

Regarding our jerseys, I’m pretty sure the idea is to have the 2021 home and away jerseys ‘set in stone’ for the foreseeable future and only the concept jerseys change ie indigenous round, Anzac round etc

Good news Steve! Cheers

I still love the Balmain Tiger emblem, obviously for political reasons we can't bring it back, and for more obvious reasons I am sentimentally attached to it as an old Balmain supporter.

But still yet to see a better Tiger emblem anywhere in the world than the Balmain Tiger emblem we finished with pre-merger. I like that it's quite realistic rather than the stylised emblems that 95% of clubs go for now.

What makes you say that?

. . . Hi J, the reasons are probably more economical than political, but surely you can't be unhappy about the relative representation of the 2 merged clubs on our jersey, our club nick-name, etc ? surely not !
As far as "bringing it back" . . . there's no "bringing it back" . . . it's always been there.
We have to put sentimentality aside, otherwise the Magpies fans are right to complain about . . . well, you know . There's no need to go into details.
Otherwise they'll call me divisive.

Yeah that is the plan moving forward, may have minor tweaks or changes but the aim is to have the same core jerseys moving forward and then be creative with the special occasion jerseys.

I'd be happy with balmain logo on one sleeve and the Maggie on the other

I do like how we now have the parent club logos on the back of the collar on the jerseys.

Agree that we should have two core jerseys - i.e. home and away.

Anzac, indigenous jerseys change every year - that is ok.

However imo - if the core jumpers are going to be kept indefinitely (e.g. like the red V)
they need to be a lot better than what is on offer at the moment. As it is a joint venture
club, one needs to be predominately black w/white and gold and the other needs to be
predominately gold w/black and white. The orange needs to go (doing this to the Balmain
side of the venture is like using grey instead of black for the Wests side of the venture).

Surely it is not that hard to come up with the same core jumper and just change the
colours around. Just my take.

The only problem with that is some people would argue about which emblem should be on the right sleeve and which on the left sleeve.I can just see 400+ pages of discussion going around in circles.

Really? When was the last time a wests/balmain argument happened on here? Years ago, issues about home grounds and jersey design are discussed cordially these days.

Certainly most people feel that way, but there are still a few who have an axe to grind on both sides
