Wests Tigers best ever signing ???

I say it is Ellis, both because of how he played during his time, but also because he was a decently big name when we signed him, and quite outside the box.

Prince, Hodgo, Richards, Taupau… all were signings with good potential, but all of them were struggling for consistent form when we picked them up. IIRC Hodgo was playing reserves for Parra at the end of 2003.

I am going to go a bit left field - Scott Sattler.

He signed to play in 2004, but critically, he came straight from a premiership winning team in 2003\. I think he passed on a heap of experience to a young team on the rise and showed what was required to win a competition.

Thats not left field, thats lay off the crack pipe.

Benji I dont class as a signing as we got him through one of our development programs,so I have gone for Hogo,Prince and Ellis–can not split them

Hodgson, Ellis and Prince in that order.
Benji doesn't count as he came through Keebra Park. Hoping Taupau will be on the list as time goes on. And I have high hopes on Lodge.
Going back to those old names I think McCracken could have been great and Terry Hill was very good when he was actually on the field. I still remember a post on the forum back then calling him 'The Tampon' - 1 week in then out for a few. LOL
