Going to campbletown was the beginning of the end for the magpies

A quick question for you GEO because you seem to know a fair bit more than most...As a member will I be able to go to the centre of excellence to have a look around at most times or do I need to get permission...Iam out of town and didnt want to go there and be knocked back...I also understand that there may be cafe and restaurant there is that correct???

The centre of excellence is just part of the Concord redevelopment precinct..you can go there..

As for the centre of excellence itself..you wouldn't be able to rock up and get a tour of that part ...They will however have open days for members and fans to walk through initially...

Rubbish!!!! So Lidcombe, Granville, Parramatta didn’t exist in 1908?

Like Balmain, Western Suburbs was an inner city club. Only 6.7 miles or 10.9Km from the City. Their first game was against Balmain at Birchgrove Oval. Pratten Park at Ashfield become thier home ground in 1912. It was only much later in 1967 that Western Suburbs moved out of the inner city to Lidcombe 13 miles or 20.8Km from the city and eventually south west of Sydney in 1987.
