I Wonder how much of the COE we get exclusive use of. Seeing everything's in building A, building B is empty.
People forget it's a public facility and we share it with the community. Will be interesting to see how they balance it

There is a large dedicated area for the Wests Tigers. The part the club has is not shared.

I wonder what’s planned for Leichardt Oval?

Mayor Darcy Byrne says he has been in talks about an upgrade.


It won’t get any cash from the government because it’s too close to SFS rebuild, and ANZ.
WT best chance is a new stadium at Campbelltown, hopefully seating more than 20,000 people.

Campbletown would be a disaster for the club full time
Pull curtains on the top leave of ANZ use that
Zouths are using ANZ next year we should have too
Hopefully we take the new SFS they will need tenn ants

I didn't say anything about using Campbelltown as a fulltime venue.

Can't agree with that. The SFS is only 10 minutes away from Wests Ashfield and 20 minutes from the COE. A perfect location with 45K capacity.

Except it is in the Eastern Suburbs.

You mean the outskirts of the city that is easy to get to. 20 minute walk from Central or 7 minutes by bus. Its not at the beach.

Yes in the Eastern Suburbs, it only takes 20 mins to drive to Bondi Beach from the city. It's not like the Eastern Suburbs are huge but the SFS is in the Eastern Subrurbs

Who cares what LGA it is in. We'll never agree on this one.

Because we are a team called Wests that shouldn't be playing in the Eastern Suburbs.

West is relative. Easts are West of Auckland. Penrith are comprehensively more West than Tigers are.

So we are Wests Bondi Tigers?

I think that they should build a club onsite....yeah it would be close to ashfield, but can't have enough revenue streams....would've tied it all together neatly

I don't think the council would have went for that considering it is a community centre.

But, I’m trying to work out the scale and if the recovery pool is just as the name describes “recovery” eg walking up and down after leg injuries.
Or if its deep/ long enough to do lung capacity drills. Eg holding breath, swimming underwater, sprint training (without breath). Which is great for endurance which the is way the game seems to be heading in.

It would be a heated pool I’d say . Like a hydro . I’ve been in places similar ie, hydro pool next to the gym, opposite the physio room , and cardio room behind the gym . Not too that level of sophistication, but similar .
