Wests Tigers CEO won't confirm SFS final

Yes, 4 from 4.

I am happy to play at the SFS, as long as its not the Roosters.

If we play the Roosters, then it should be at Leichhardt or CT.

they beat us at the SFS in Foundation Cup and then the early round match. Then they got us on the bell at Campbelltown.

On MMM this morning …they said coming up in the news that they had info on where the Wests Tigers would play...

Missed it...Anyone hear it?

ON MMM they said that the SFS Contract with the Tigers states that they must hve the first final at the SFS.
 
A piece in the tele said Saints would lock out 30,000 fans again by playing at Oki while the tigers would take a more professional approach and play at SFS.

I would hazard a guess that its just speculation if it's in the Terrorgraph.
 
Steve Mascord just said on foxsports news that the Tigers have an agreement with the SFS and that they were always going to play a home final at the SFS. Don't know if it's true but if it is why not announce it sooner and would have saved all this pointless debate
 
This week's RLW magazine says the Tigers will play out of the SFS in week 1.

Although, from memory, I think Easts beat us at Leichardt in 1974 in the first year of the Amco Cup …... may even have been the first game.
 
Would we rather take the risk of playing somewhere where we don't have such an advantage to be put on the back foot for the rest of the finals? A lot of fans would miss out, but the further we go in the finals the more fans can see the games. We lose our first week, we lose momentum and then we don't have a week off and with our injuries, a week off would be a godsend.
LO for mine for the first week. Then SFS or ANZ after that.
 
RLW says the club has a contract with the Footy Stadium to play our first final match there,so it is non negotiable,end of story.

I asked Stephen Humphreys exactly that question after the Penrith match and he said that no such agreement exists.
Thats why the board is deliberating on where to play the first semi final. Stephens words were "We will look after our own interests before worrying about them (them being the Cricket and Sports Ground Trust).

Thats good to hear,was hoping the club wasn't stringing us along then saying we thought about Leichhardt and Campbo but this was the best ground for everyone.
 
I think you're on the Money Knuckles….We don't have an agreement to play finals there cause we never looked like making it before.....

It's up to the clubs to decide where they play the first week...Just like the Dragons at Kogarah the Panfers at CUA The Titans at Robina it should be the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt...
