Yes it's unfair that he got charged, yes it's unfair he'll get a week, yes there are protected species, yes we're not one of them but at the end of the day made no attempt to tackle, he came in late and he's copped it.

It was a stupid effort on his part, which resulted in the back to back penalties for them to score and get back into the game. If he had have wrapped his arms there's no penalty. Simple as that.

Ennis or Pierce?

Ennis could kind of fire up a pack till he got thumped. He would then try his "grub/niggle" tricks and get kicked for it.

I just wish they picked Ennis in 2008(I think) instead of Farah with the Broken ribs. Farah has been the only NSW hooker to stand up to Smith, maybe he is better, maybe worse but he is the only person to really go Toe to Toe with him. Had Farah gotten more team play earlier in his game he may have developed differently and been a little more useful.

Yep that was a joke, but MCK deserves what he got, turned the game against us, Ivan should have dropped him if he wasn't suspended.
 
I don't even remember McIlwrick's incident. The MRP is as much a lottery as the bunker is, it's ridiculous really. Chee-Kam's was penalty sufficient, and to be fair he's only missing a week from his record, but it's absurd that he's even on report.
 
Fair dinkum if he gets a suspension for that I'm out of here. There's bigger collisions in afl these days. Rugby league has lost me!!!
 
It was a DUMB DUMB play.

He gave away the penalty and from that moment onwards the Cowboys blew us away.

I just don't understand how a player who should know better does something like that.

The whole shoulder charge law has to be looked at honestly….all MCK was trying to do was put pressure on the kicker. It was more front on then side on non tackle. Probably see a dozen of those per game. They can't suspend everyone that does it or there won't be a comp. RIDICULOUS!!!!!
 
I've no issue with MCK getting a week for what he did - more issue with others avoiding suspension for similar or worse offences. JWH surviving his elbow was particularly egregious.
