This thread is it serious??? . Moral of the story is…let enjoy the win. Lets enjoy the next one even more...and lets be gracious in defeat. Lets support our team...not just on line..but out at the grounds. Actions speak louder than words. But on hear by many is just words!!

Thanks for stating the bleeding obvious but people are entitled to express an opinion and not be slighted for disloyalty.I've been knocking around Football Clubs for a long time and when a Team is going thru a rough patch those who care or have an interest express opinions and often criticisms on what wrong. The problem is when no one cares, everything goes quiet, members pretend nothing is wrong and its usually all downhill from that point.

Just heard if he asks for a release there are high level Tigers officials (?) that would let him go - Skysports

A good example I think of why people shouldnt post after drinking….all over the place

Btw...I backed em, didnt put my house on em - who'd be stupid enough to do that?

Not a good post I think

Maniac, if my post offends you so I can see youre very sheltered
Fact is life is NOT all peaches and cream, fact is there are negative aspects occuring in our team, Fact is there are many mant positive threads last night & today about the win….someone posting here once every few months when the going is good, berating those for discussing the negative issues that affect us and our team, is well...to put it bluntly - weak.

I think Wildcat777 just regurgitated the alphabet and ate too many full stops!

There are some valid points in there but unfortunately they were lost in the surrounding mumbo jumbo. I agree with bp.

Still not convinced on Marshall, he played well last night but needs to string a lot more back to back games to convince me.
Still wont run the ball????

Ink, glad you are a voice of logic on here mate.

Great to see Benji back to a bit better form last night. I was watching some of bonksters highlight reels though and he still has a long way to go to being back to the Benji he was. Not sure if he can get there.

Really hoping he starts to remove some of the bulk. Would be SO good to see his pace and step come back. I'm sure it's still there somewhere.

This thread is it serious??? Not many business minded people on here. From what I can see most people will agree that Wayne Bennett is a useless coach and has no idea about the NRL and winning the GF. I hope that the Wests Tigers management do not read posts on here and keep away. I have been to many pubs and in each of them there is a sign…."free beer tomorrow." A few few on here, then some, must be turning up waiting for that free beer. Tomorrow never comes. Its this year that counts. Am sick of the negative energy..negative posts by sad people...you know who you are...a response to this of criticism will be confirmation of such. I suggest an exercise....read through the posts...and see how many negative posts there are on here. Am sick of hearing about we are building for the future. Thats a given every club is....what counts is this year. Stop the criticism of the club, management and players. Support the club, support this web site. Is is actually great and I seem to keep coming back, as there is some good shit on here. Just some period and posts..is just so negative and sad for those who actually post... I just tune out. Yes the obvious, so no further response required. Well not by an intelligent being. Lets make the big calls now....we need a clean out. If we can afford it. Its the balance sheet that will dictate and whats available in the market place. And yes there have been some stupid decisions in hindsight. So has many clubs. Benji is a freak. That is a fact. Whether you agree or not. He is not the problem as Wests Tigers. Is you think so, then you have no idea. But then again neither do I. In 2005, after the first few games I predicted the wooden spoon. In hindsight now I had NFI. Dont think anyone on hear saw 2005 coming. Those that did...well well done. Those..well lets just say.....will not be on this web-site, and are multi-millionaires, may not even be in the coiuntry at this moment. To those well...all I can say is enjoy!! I am proud of the win by the boys. On paper we had no chance...How many on the on here put their house on the Tigers winning tonite? I bet not one! I bet that in the next week however, there will be a lot more negative posts than positive ones..thats a given. Moral of the story is...let enjoy the win. Lets enjoy the next one even more...and lets be gracious in defeat. Lets support our team...not just on line..but out at the grounds. Actions speak louder than words. But on hear by many is just words!!

Thank God for common sense!

I thought it was a big load of S***.

Criticism on here and other social media has been happening for years not just recently. And guess what, The criticism was warranted and the club is finally starting to make changes based on all of the concerns raised over the years.

Mate I don't want to hear I have no idea when I know for a fact that Benji Marshall is a substandard NRL player. Don't try and prove other wise because you will simply lose the argument. He is a freak? spot on and you see it once in every 10 games now.. Sorry that's not good enough. Apparently he STARRED in last nights game??? Starred? We are in serious trouble if that was a 'Star' performance particularly at home against an slightly above average side.

Cant wait for Benji to leave. That's when our future begins. Until everyone realises that he is an overated and overpaid player we have no future.

This is just the biggest load of rubbish. You could be forgiven for thinking he was off-contract at the end of this yr instead of having another 2 yrs to go. Whats the hurry? Concentrate on your form you bloody prima donna

BRILLIANT retort GNR4LIFE, if Marshall shows some maturity over the next 24 months, and converts some pronable losses to unlikely wins, I'm positive the club will write him a bigger check. Re, this mornings headlines, one field goal does not a season make. That performance he put in against the Bronco's needs to be a distant memory before any officials blow any more dust off the cheque book.

maybe you are mistaken about the wests tigers, we are a footy club. so yeah, people are going to critisize from a rugby league level. trades, player retention, player performance, etc etc.

where do 'most people' confirm this view?

we might have found our problem.

most of us do, but theres nothing wrong with us discussing poor decisions of the club, poor management decisions and poor perfomances by players - because there has been alot of them the last 12 months.

how is benji a freak? he was a freak, he has done nothing in the past few years to suggest he is anything close to it. he made a break last night and was caught down within 20m.

that would be irresponsible.

would be good speech in a movie, but how are we meat to 'act'? can we make benji play better? can we fix the clubs backpayments to average players? please.

Keep the non judgemental, non critical, rose coloured glassed opinions for the official west tigers website - after all that's the only comments they care to publish anyway.

Forums are for opinions. all sorts. positive and more important critical. otherwise it would be very boring and neglect to form any kind of mature debate. After all, I'm sure this is why 99% of us come here. No?

Good news. He's an amazing player and when we get troops back from injury he will shine.

I'm hoping the same thing too. Touch wood that Farah and Woods get through Origin unscathed because from here we'll get the two of them back. Galloway soon after. Throw in Sue, Buchanan or Ava and Benji can play behind a pack which should consistently get metres. He played better on Saturday for the very same reason.
