It grows on me a bit every time I look at the shot but yeah … black shorts.
Still. It gets worn for one weekend. Blah
Funily enough as much as I hate the current orange, if we were wearing Balmain gold it would be a lot worse. The darker shade of orange actually helps it not look too bad

It's like we're retarded or something, May as well put scarfs on them as well.
Worse still, We warm up in them!! - Not even smart enough to have alternate (cooler) Warm Up gear.
By the time they finish warming up - They're zapped!! -Every. Bloody. Year!!
We are the only team that get railed every year into wearing our hot kit on a stinking hot day....
I even asked one of our senior players if it was hot at this time of year in the black kit - His answer was "I've never thought about it, But you're right... It's heaps hotter than our away kit"
It's mind boggling.....
They don't dress cricketers in Black, And they're mostly standing around doing nothing....

Mate can assure you playing an afternoon game in Campbelltown in March/April is a much different proposition than playing the same time slot at AAMI Park :slight_smile:
Any day games outside of Melbourne/Canberra that time of year should be in away strip.

Maybe they should ditch the Speedos and freeball it under their strides in matches played March/April….think of the freedom they would play with! And management should definitely let them run under the sprinklers at halftime too.
Our club is fully recognized as soft, last thing we wanna be complaining about is wearing dark jerseys on a warm day IMO.
