Looks like I opened up a can of worms with this issue, unfortunately we have crap digital signals here and the audio broke up a bit but the Gibberer Vossy stated we have had 5 jumpers this year when we only have 4 and still doesn't get the heritage issue.
Did he watch the game at the SCG and see what jumper we played in, the Wests strip was the mirror of the Balmain jumper, how does he keep on being misinformed and sanctimonious!.

Vossy is right, the Balmain and Maggies jumpers with the big V's on them should be our heritage jumpers. Thats what they wore when I started following and playing football, 30 years ago. Couldn't care less about what they wore 100 years ago.

Vossy is right in one respect, I have only ever followed 2 footy team West and Balmain so the merger was perfect for me..
When i grew up the only Wests jersey I knew was the black with the white V, ask most people which Wests jersey comes into the mnds first and they will say Black white V.. That should be our Wests heritage Jersey, most people think of Balmain jerseys as Orange Black V that should be our Balmain heritage Jersey..
All fine to pay hommage to your heritage but you can still do that and the jerseys with the big V on them..

We wore a different white one in the trials. Never put on sale so not an issue

I have the old Balmain Striped jersey from the mid 90s. I really like the new Balmain Heritage although atm, it just reminds me of that dark day this year at the SCG so the sooner they chalk up a win in it, the better!
As a foundation Balmain fan, I don't mind the magpies heritage jersey. Probably because it reminds me of the Hawkes Bay Magpies RU team from my birth town in Napier, NZ.

Voss is NOT right when he said we have a Magpies heritage strip and what we wore against Newcastle is not that.

Yeah trials …we havent worn it in the comp proper, i thought thats what he meant but re-reading it maybe not
