Tough matchup against the Sharks, but Austin in the halves gives the team a lot more variety in attack.
 
What ever happened to Rory Brien?
Plenty were talking him up last year - didn't hear he was released.
 
Thanks anyways but Rory O'Brien is a prop Wagga.
Anyone have any idea?
I know there would be plenty in front of him but he scored plenty of tries last year.

completely wrong on that count, but was correct on simona and nofo so that kind of evens out i guess haha

Rory unfortunately had to retire due to severe problems with his knees.

That is really sad to hear no ones career should ever end that way.

Heard that as well. I think the big man also tweeted that Blake Austin was in the NRL side this week. Anyone else heard that?

i heard it on facebook, but no reliable sources.

bad move to promote austin and put anasta on the bench. one or the other.

i'll be very surprised if austin does play though, unless braith is injured or something
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Austin is brought in. Last week across the comp showed that with the new concussion rules most sides will need a utility that can cover lots of positions and Austin can cover backrow, hooker, halves and centres so it gives us a lot of utility value. With galloway likely to come onto the bench and Patterson starting we have 3 or 4 props on the bench. My guess is that Galloway will move onto the bench and Big Ava will drop out for Austin. It could just be that Austin is a great 18th man option too with his versatility
