id say shannon gallant, if he stayed with us in fg he would of only gotten better.

Believe me , Shannon DEARLY wanted to stay with the Tigers. ( This came straight from his Dad , Adrian ) For some reason , the deal he was offered was totaly pitiful, ( < 60k) and well below par compared to his efforts on the field. He has a young family , and didn't want to uproot them. However, he HAD to except the NQ offer, not only for the real prospect of a regular start in the firsts, but to earn enough to look after that young family. The WT management rathered spend a much larger sum recruiting a dual international , in his career twilight on the rebound from union than looking after its talented juniors. They could even have offered him what they are paying Fitzy…and he may have stayed!! :brick:

Not much you can do when the coach doesn't like that type of fullback…I get the feeling Sheens has the same opinion of Mullaney ...Good luck to Shannon I am sure the Cowboys style of play will suit him.

It's all most criminal isn't it, he's a protected species on here.
But seriously if anyone thinks he has fulfilled his potential then maybe he never had much to start with.

I take it all back about Loti…....still shoulda kept Shannon and not given Fitzy a superannuation top up.

Mate halfway through last year and the back half of '08 nearly 3/4 of the forum wanted Benji is reserve grade.

Was '07 along with Morris. Talked up playing Origin but never even made it past the trials and ended up back at Toongabbie playing JB Cup(?). But a very nice fella indeed. I think i'm the only WT supporter on this planet with a photo with him in a WT jersey lol

Dene Halatau. He only delivered once v Dragons Preliminary 2005\. Apart from that he never really did anything I can remember.

Oh Please Team Tiger Kapow was an good player for us, IMO he was quite consistant in 2005 , 06, 07\. 2008 and 09 were not good seasons for him. But I believe he fulfiled his potential.

Yep Dene gets a lot of stick on here that I think is undeserved. In a team that had a dominanent forward pack he would be very useful.

Matt Seers, never seemed to go as well at wests-tigers like he did with norths.

Halatau played probably five good games after 2005\. He lived off that one good half a season for a good four years.

Dean Collis - classy player who could have been anything.

What about Ben Jeffrey, had a good debut, did nothing since and has been overtaken by Mead, Gordon and Atkins at the Titans.

Also Metusula (Spelling?), I thought he had some potential, played some games and then disappeared.
