Wests Tigers powerbroker lauds Taylor...

Without Wests Ashfield we would be probably be playing out of Perth by now, so if the weatherman wants to throw his thoughts out there I have no problems. I certainly agree with a lot he said except i would not be offering any coach a long term deal, especially a coach who has no Grand final rings in his cupboard. Maybe after next year we think about a two year deal, but even a guy like Bellyache I would only be looking at three years max

Here we go again…. Leagues club with a majority share. Suddenly things move outside our club, people feel a bit important and want to get their face back on tv.

I forecast stormy weather ahead

Bailey should have stuck to getting the weather wrong it was what he was best at

Geezus. A board member approached for comment on the coach, he gives the coach a deserved rap for our form over the back end of the yr, and its greeted with hysterics.

He's giving his personal opinion without a board resolution. That's a problem GNR. You may not see it, but it is.

How hard it is to just say "that's a decision for the board".

He shouldn't be commenting on players either, like Mitch. That's the coaches job.

He's commending the side for a great back end to the yr. Can't see what the big deal is :deadhorse:

Bloke should be quiet.

We don't need board members giving their personal opinion about Farah and Taylor the week before our biggest game.

I get the feeling this guy likes the attention.

Of course the pro Taylor brigade are saying his comments are A ok, but we don't need his personal opinion in the press. Board members should come out and make a statement as one or just get on with their job.

The only reason I want weatherman quiet is he was one of the most divisive figures heading the magpies side of the jv. He should be the last man to talk about team and unity.
He needs to shut up and just do his job behind closed doors even though I agree with some of the article.

If that's all he did, that would be fine. He said he thinks JTs contract should be renewed and he also made disparaging comments about MM's early performances.

It's funny that players get slammed for doing something stupid on the field, but we let medicority slide for the people driving our club.

I'd prefer not hear anything from any of the Board apart from the Chairperson.
Leave the rest to the CEO and Coach.

If the team had played consistently we should not be in the position of having to rely on the last game against a top team. I don't know if the coaching can be held responsible for the at times shocking defence and comic handling of first half of the season but blame must lie somewhere.

Yeah, why should we applaud the coach for turning it around? We should have just racked the cue and finished second last.

I don't know who was and wasn't responsible for the first half of season but if was the coaching then they have stuffed up regardless of where we are now. Did Jason or Mitch state the change of tactics? Does that mean that the coaching stuffed up the first time round? We went two steps back and one forward.
