It is really driving me insane .. Richo being white anerd was the beginning of the end.. Douhie being a selfish tosser and Moses coup on the weekend have cause Benji to wave the white Flag today and this team is the GOTDAMN ALAMO … every single selection decaueon that has been terrible in a game this year has been recycled and catalysed into 1 team against parramatta.. I cannot believe the team he named .. Judas Douhei at 7 , No heart Toa and Tristan cannot make a Ruck tackle hope all rushed into the same team ??! What the hell ??? Drop Roberts and Andrews to replace them with players that have been out of position all year !??Instead of selling, they could hire a team of expensive consultants, listen carefully to their findings, then immediately sack the current management when the final report recommends an independent board and a new CEO.
They could implement the recommendations, declare it a bold new direction, look like geniuses and, most importantly, ensure any future blame is professionally outsourced.
From there, they could appoint a CEO who has won multiple competitions and has a proven record of turning bottom-ranked teams into contenders. Someone who might even, just maybe, stop the club from manufacturing a fresh crisis every second Tuesday.
He could call the clean-out a “crocodile roll”, removing the dead wood, resetting the culture and hopefully leaving fewer people around to leak the next boardroom argument to the media.
Or we could scrap that idea and continue contending for wooden spoons, because apparently having a predominantly black home jersey and a NSW Cup team playing out of Lidcombe Oval is the real definition of success.
YesThat is what I basically said mate. Do you always have to have the last say.
But it has for Storm. And most of the time, for ManlyPrivate ownership hasn't worked out too well for the Titans.
Winston don't hold back on what you really think! I feel your pain and disappointment.Well may we say God save the King, because nothing will save this Shithole
There isnt enough bleach in the world to disinfect the rot in the walls.
Burn it to the ground and shoot its ashes into the sun.
Probably correct, but I can't imagine even Elon Musk with all of his Trillion of Dollars offering HBG anything above A$70 Million (maybe A$50 Million in their current state of disarray).Could not imagine our current owners selling for less $100mil for the club.
Gee Mr Casino that would really be a gamble to head in such a radical direction.Instead of selling, they could hire a team of expensive consultants, listen carefully to their findings, then immediately sack the current management when the final report recommends an independent board and a new CEO.

Wests Tigers is already privately owned. HBG are not a government entity. So what do you really want? With the Holman Barnes Group on the nose with many of the old Balmain and current Wests Tigers supporters, is now the time for serious talks to take place between the NRL, HBG and all WT stakeholders regarding possible Private Ownership?
If HBG were to consider offering up the Wests Tigers NRL Licence to a Private Owner it could be a win/win for them and supporters, with a current estimated value being thrown around at between
A$70-$90 million?
If the right owner with a long-term commitment and sufficient financial resources took over, the Wests Tigers could become one of the biggest success stories in the NRL. They have a huge supporter base, a rich nursery in Sydney West and South West and a well-known brand. With stable leadership and sustained investment, they have the potential to become a consistent finals contender and eventually a premiership- winning club again.
A proviso (IMO) would be that serious WT fans could purchase shares so that they would have some influence over the club's governance.
Surely current WT supporters would not have any concern over the culture being weakened as it is currently rotten to the core?
NB: I took the liberty of referencing from ChatGPT in respect of some of the above data.
Yep 20 x $100Wests Tigers is already privately owned. HBG are not a government entity. So what do you really want?
They covered up one mess by causing another mess. What leadership!I think even the blokes who backed HBG and their appointment of Benj for 5 years must be coming round now.
Believe the club last year and refused point blank.Probably correct, but I can't imagine even Elon Musk with all of his Trillion of Dollars offering HBG anything above A$70 Million (maybe A$50 Million in their current state of disarray).
Any potential buyer would not only have to have the dollars, but a love of the Wests Tigers. He or She would initially not expect any financial rewards but treat it as a "slow burn" project!Basically the club is stuffed under the current set up and it would take a person with a lot of money who is willing to spend it with little hope of making a return anytime soon.
Because of our performances for 95% of our existence we have to pay way over the odds for players, coaches and administrators. So even if a private owner came in, he will struggle to get a competitive roster together, with the limitations of the salary cap and our reputation.
Not sure there is a road out of our gloom, but I guess one thing is for sure..The HBG road is definitely the wrong one
